This version of Kingsbane doesn't have enough draw power. That's why you frequently have dead hands.
Funny that Fan of Knives would have helped with both draw and in fighting Odd paladin.
I agree I run two over the backstabs. Backstab is for aggro but more for combo'ing, but you can use dread corsair half the time as a combo'er after some weapon buffs.

Turns out Kingsbane deck sucks if you make 20+ cards in it based around Kingsbane and then don't draw it. Who woulda thought.
He needs to replace dread corsair with Elven minstrel. Most of the time it's a dead card or a 3 or 4 mana 3/3 with taunt. At least toxicologist can help deal with early aggression if you don't draw kingsbane. He needs more drawing power in his deck.
@@678gog With double elven minstrel you dont even need to play the second raiding party because you get so many more shinyfinders to your hand. And even if you did play 2 raiding parties, who cares about not getting value corsairs? If you seriously get to a point where you already have all 3 weapon buff pirates, 3 mana draw a kingsbane is good enough as is

Yeah that is why he is missing draw cards in his deck. I would cut the Vilespines and maybe a Dread Corsair for some draw. If you look at the top deck in HSreplay it has 3 more draw cards than Trump has. That is a huge difference. All the Kingsbane Rogue decks you will likely find anywhere have more draw.
I haven’t lost with kingsbane yet. It’s all about how you mulligan and set up plays. Trump is not good with either

Sometime a deck is just not for you, this is one of those times.
The Fan of knives are part of your drawing engine. You really need it to improve that matchup against odd paladin. They're way better than Backstab in this deck.

I've never played Kingsbane Rogue before in my life and I'm pretty sure I would have played those first few games better than Trump...

You draw too many minions with Boarding party AND Minstral. I hated Sprint in my old KB deck but no I'm running two of them.

@@silverbolt6699 If you draw most/all your minions with effects, you draw more spells/kingsbane with start of turn draw. Its called deck thinning and its very useful to get to your key cards quicker, or you know, just about as useful as drawing any card with effects.
More detail: The top cards of your deck could be some minions anyway, using an effect to draw them lets you get back to drawing your other cards normally. If the top cards weren't minions, you'd just be getting some minions and thinning the deck, win-win. It does get bad if you run out of minions in the deck but it seems like there are plenty in kingsbane decks, especially if you add Minstral/s.
All that said I don't know whether it would yield good results, but I imagine better than Trump's deck.

The 3/3 taunt isnt worth the 'odd paladin counter' that double acts as cycle and good against quest hunter. Fan helps you find kingsbane generators that enable you to not waste your buff cards on wicked blade. Warriors have too many chargers for you to ignore the difference of 4 health, which means you live, and doesnt leave a body for them to activate overkill that generates snowballing.
Also always mulligan the kingsbane when you have an search, it allows you to find reactive/active cards and not having a dead card in hand.
Never 'bum rush' mage in this set, too many removals, mage has literally 5 cost deal 5-7 dmg to all minions

As someone who considers Kingsbane decks some of the scummiest decks in the game, but also someone who loves Trump, this was.....conflicting.

The scummiest decks are the Mecha'Thun bullshit plays. That isnt fun at all, just lame. At least against Kingsbane you can do something about it

I played kingsbane since kobolds and it's in the best meta for it now with the new expansion but oh boy Trump doesn't know how to play it
You don't keep kingsbane unless you have toxicologist or poison AND leaching poison,you want to cycle trough your deck as fast as possible so hard mulligan for raiding party,cavern shinyfinder etc,you cant die to fatigue because of vallera the hollow so you don't mind fatigue (kind of obvious but you just want to survive until you have some shinyfinders or raiding partys and then hit your oponnent with your lifestealing pyroblast every turn)

Yeah, Trump misplayed a bunch of times, but he was also drawing terribly aside from the very first game
anyone who played wild last 6 months know it's very, and i mean, VERY unlikely for a kingsbane rogue to not have his weapon as a 4 attack lifesteal by turn 5, with a shinyfinder in hand, and now, with the rainding party, this must actually be the expected results in 90% os the macthes

His deck is very bad. It has nothing to do with luck. A better Kingsbane Rogue would almost always have their weapon ready to use.
It’s because his list is terrible. He built is like he’s trying to make a value deck, not a Kingsbane deck. Unproductive mentality in the deck construction and in the play decisions.
Its funny how removing the draw from the deck results in not drawing the key card that the deck is built around.
Why not Pirate Rogue? You can put Kingsbane in Pirate Rogue.

If you're against aggro, then keeping prep + vanish isn't bad either
Yeah, if you dont havw kings or a draw for it, you always hard mull. If you have a draw for it, you then start looking for leeching
I've been experimenting with keeping leach against exactly face hunter but idk if that's correct or not.

Playing dread corsairs because of raiding party seems like a terrible idea. Crappy 3/3s with taunt arent worth the space in the deck even though they are free later in the game. I like cutting them and one raiding party to add some other card draw, fan if you are running into a lot of paladins or shiv for more efficient cycle and throw in the 3/2 combo guy.

Trump's inability to mulligan and his wasting buffs on daggers is killing him.
He had to waste buffs on daggers because he was being overwhelmed too early. His version of the deck is just bad, which makes the problem worse.

the issue is the deck list.
In theory, Kingsbane is actually one of the best cards with one of the best decks in hearthstone because there is no true counter to it besides destroying it only temporarily, in which ideally you would draw it back soon after. With how few cards there are that can even destroy weapons relative to how often they are played, kingsbane can be extremely difficult to play against, especially with some one who has experience using it. The main difficulty is drawing it early game, especially against those aggressive decks that can deal massive damage early game. The solution to this is to not bother putting anything else in your deck except three types of cards: 1:draw weapon 2:any sort of weapon buff 3:Kingsbane. Anything but these cards will water down your chances of drawing something you need. Another thing to reach maximum benefit is to avoid playing any weapon buffs on anything but kingsbane, unless absolutely needed.

A good reminder that hours played doesn't equal skill. But it's more about the mindset to improve rather than entertain, which is not Trump's case.

'trump is close to dying' lets priortise value! Right up until the turn he dies he is still talking about value. You don't need fucking value, you have a lifestealing pyroblast every turn and can't to fatigue. You need to survive the early game, that's literally the only important thing to do.

Hey guys, can you help me? So I got the Warrior Loa for the login reward, and opened a ton of good dragons from the expansion, so I decided to start playing a serious warrior deck. Problem is, I'm at Rank 18, and I really don't have a lot of dust or card cuz I don't spend money and haven't played for long. So far, I built a dragon warrior deck with a mini rush package, and a few games in casual made me think that the two really don't go together cuz dragon warrior seems too slow to fit the rush package in. Can anyone give me some advice?
Cards I don't have: Darius Crowley, Dr. Boom, town crier, 1 Crowd Roaster, 2 smolderthorn lancers, but I do have 2000 dust. Just really reluctant to craft epics or legendaries until I'm sure that they're good.

Wait until the dust has cleared and the tier 1 decks are established. Then craft one of those decks with or without modification keeping in mind the next cards to rotate out will be the DKs.

rush and dragons doesnt go well together. maybe try wild? old tempo dragon with rush minions could work maybe?
