Not just him, but you compare the winner to the guy at 7:34. The second guy went for the final punch, saw his opponent was out, and stopped himself from hitting him again, even though he was within his rights to, and it would have been the sensible thing to do.
The fight at 4.30 was a fucking mess. That's how people end up in wheelchairs.

@@snicklesnockle7263 yeah but some of these dudes are straight animals in the cage with all the adrenaline flowing, sometimes they can’t help but hammer fist their opponents face in. It’s natural instincts. But restraint like that, last second pulling back when you know the shot isn’t necessary, is good sportsmanship, respectable, and proper level headedness.

That Pat Curran should've been stopped by ref after first fall down, it's up to them to protect the fighter n even though he tried n eventually did get bk up he didnt know where the F he was. He took far far more head shots than he should have imo!!
That was horrible officiating. Even if he was claimed he was "okay" that was not in the interest of the fighter to take that damage like that.

I always feel like hits to the body are so overlooked. Everyone always wants the big knockout, but striking someone's body effectively enough to stop or effect the fight takes crazy skill and technique. That has to be so demoralizing too, alot of the time it's like a delayed malfunction with those liver kicks. They always look fine at first and then it buffers all the way and shuts them down 😅
Yeah, you may have a chin made of concrete, but you liver is as soft as all others one, when your body is relaxed it got hit so strong , that the pain simply paralyzes. No one can tolerate it.
Especially to rlthe ribs with that last one. I heard the snap lmao. Ye he held onto him for a 2nd, but then you go to breathe and your whole body locks up because your ribs are contacting your lungs. That was brutal. Feels like a career ender but idk

My general rule is that the ref should stop the fights earlier when it is clear that the other guy has been defeated. Often the guy is punned at the ropes or is laying on the ground and hd still gets hit in the face
