1. Find the person you really hate 2. Load the Nambu and put it at their doorstep at an angle 3. When they pick it up, it shoots their foot 4. When the cops pick it up, it shoots them too
My understanding is that bottlenecked cartridges do not work well in blowback actions, particularly pistol-sized ones. There were a lot of blowback submachineguns made in 7.63 Tokarev, which was bottlenecked, but other examples - especially successful pistols - are scarce. I do not know the technical reason for this, and a quick Google search did not help. My recollection is that the Japanese did try to develop a blowback 8mm Nambu pistol based on the Hamada 32 automatic, but it was not considered satisfactory and was made only in test quantities. There was also a blow-FORWARD pistol chambered in 8mm Nambu (as well as being offered in other calibers) called the Hino-Komura. It also was only made in tiny numbers, back before WWI.
"They actually work a little bit better than the type 14s" said in the same manner as "there are numbers bigger than zero." Not a significantly high bar to clear, really.
Hey Alex, love your channel! I'm a fairly new viewer and love your views and opinions on everything I've seen so far. I've recently been learning about the Sig P210 and wonder if you've done any videos on that gun yet? Keep up the great work guys and I'm now a avid follower.
hey TFB TV will you guys do a review of the f90/EF88/Atrax when it comes out to the civilian market. because from my standpoint as an Australian i would really like to see how an Australian built gun goes in the US market. And the only way i could ever get my hands on one is by either moving to the US or joining the ADF.
Doom lol you didn't know except their technically French/Australian mads seeing as tho Thales is french and they own Lithgow small arms. so yea an aussie Aug variant is gonna be sold to the US market but as a Semi auto
I wonder if problems of the Type 94 can be fixed by changing the metal type and rebuild it(You know, think about it. Smooth new metal body with polymer grip... :3)
Don't let these internet trolls get you down on the Type 94. They were good guns, though the exposed trigger bar is a decent no-go. That said, wasn't a problem at the time, the way it was used.
Nice quote. Raise your hand if you read "The Book of the Five Rings", however if you understand and apply its disciplines, your more likely to keep what you learned to yourself.
Why did they keep insisting on having a skinny grip and making the bullets do that weird 45 degree cant in the magazine? That is really the killer to both designs. Unnecessarily complicated and poorly constructed sure did not help either. Also bunch the bar on the side equals gun going off it an idiotic design flaw.
Compared to the type 14s, which are arguably the better gun anyway, thats expensive. There was recently an import of them and they were selling under 500.
*+TFB TV* #TFBTV I learn so much about firearms from you. I learn brief safety, kinds of handling, the culture around them, their characteristics, minor politics surrounding them, and even their individual reputations. Stay healthy, please!!!

Never thought I've be looking this video up years later to strip down my own Type 94.
The duality of craftsmanship between that Rolex and Type 94 is humorous
It's a mid to late war version. They got rough on the non-critical dimensions, but still in spec inside.
Say what you will about the Type 94, at least it works consistently which is more than can be said for the Type 14.
Step 1: Make sure it's unloaded
Step 2: Find a trashcan
Step 3: Throw the Type 14 in the trashcan
You're done.
And the Type 94*
Yes.
Sorry, I was just commenting to someone else about the type 14.
Mosin is better
$2200-$3400 paperweight.

That's a nice R51 you got there.....

Lol
Is this the gen 2?
DudeInWalmart nah, they renamed it to the Nambu Type 14

The Japanese tended to overbuilt their guns from the Type 38 and this Type 94 are great examples of this engineering perspective.
It can't be that bad. I'd love to have this WW2 shooter for concealed carry. I'd keep it behind my belt buckle.

would it be more user friendly if a guard was tig welded to cover the exposed sear?
I have 3D puzzles less complicated to figure out than this thing.
So I'm betting you can build this in your garage with a drill, a saw, and patience.
I found a guy in America called "Chris Bartocci" on RUclips who has a fully automatic SA80
+Desantos123 UK
Okay?
I think what he is trying to say is "Alex can you please get your hands on a SA80?" lol
+Jamie Grant case in point! ;)
I just looked at his channel and seems good,so thanks for the heads up.
+Jamie Grant
Nope, no can do.
Doesn't seem too complicated. People are so over dramatic, thanks for the video
nice video

+Doom the ef90 is Australian the August is Austrian
Doom its actually f90/ef88 EF88 is the militaries designation F90 is the companies designation and look at some of the videos on it its pretty cool

Then its not nambu type 94
But a copy type 1
What size bore brush do you use to clean this?
Can you do a review on the Makarov pistols?
It's not being as how. The correct term is seeing as how. Or simply because.
What is the trigger mechanism?
How much are these i can't seem to find any (even tho they're unsafe as sh*t i still like the looks of them)
I recognize one of the markings on this pistol. It belonged to Captain Sum Ting Wong, one of the more unsuccessful Japanese officers during WW2.
I thought it was ho-lee fuk
Is that Wi To Lo's brother?
No that is his lieutanant. Lieutanant Ho-lee fuk. he kind know somthing about the situation.
Racism is so funny.
+Dex Morgan
Wi Tu Lo was part of the Air Force, this belonged to Wi Get Nook of the army.
Wow.Nice gun!
I have model gun made in Japan HWS company.
It's very real.

1. Does it take Glock Mags, and 2. Did you know you can suppress a Nagant revolver?
My new carry gun
Shouldn't you be some kind of EOD specialist to disassemble it?
Do a review on the arx-160/100
+Mitch Hammond
Did it two years ago

_The AR-70 or the AR-80/90 are so much better service rifles_
Short of a life and death situation I would not put live rounds through that gun.

looks like a kid assembled the gun until u uncover the barrel then u think what happened to the rest of the gun
Must be a pain to put back together
九四式拳銃の分解結合は日本でも見られませんね
驚くほどに簡易的な機構ですよね。
Is that thing safe when field stripped? LOL!
only strip it when its unloaded 1000000%
or you will get shot by a gun
I wonder if these are expensive
My local gun shop was selling one with a holster and 5 rounds of original ammo for $900.
Compared to the type 14s, which are arguably the better gun anyway, thats expensive.
There was recently an import of them and they were selling under 500.
Why this gun again???
Sometimes I wonder Why Those Japanese Replace The Decent Type 14 into Shitty 94???
It's hideous
*screw up
Alex, I'm concerned about how much your hands shake, do you have Parkinson's? Or is it something else?
Have you no tact?
Had a heart attack, take meds for a condition.
Would not recommend.
+TFB TV Oh, sorry to hear that. Good luck, get better!
Magnesium, Potassium and having the blood fluid (lots of water and aspirin) helped me alot

Jesus, you'd be better off sticking with your sword and harsh language if you were an Imperial Japanese officer it seems like.
Hmmm. Fugly.
A Jimenez Arms has to be made better than this.
asian guns
Even drunk I can design a better pistol...
LR S this gun is designed by drunk people
im too early
Definitely wanna of the most ugliest pistols I've seen and that grip looks ridiculous" Very cool though in a weird way.
8th comment
I'd rather have a Hi-Point. It's just as ugly but at least I know it's better than this piece of shit.
Obama designed this gun along with hillary
first
the Japanese have never been great gun designers
It's either hit or miss really.
I wouldn't say that. The arisaka type 99 was a rather nice rifle
Only with with pistols
the Howa is a great gun supposedly
Michael S
I am not really sure about the Type 64, but the 86 looks really good
