I have mixed views of the xbox gamepass subscription services. I like it on not wanting to buy games that I am not sure if I like it or letting my kids play different games that they will play here and there. The bad side is they can take games away at any time and u don't own them at all
I'm enjoying having a console for more than a year and not having to get it fixed or replace it. So compared to the 360's hardware issues, I'd say this generation isn't bad at all. As far as the games, I'd say that the 360 generation was better for sure.

Between the games being released broken and all the news about series s supposedly holding back gaming, Microsoft's terrible response time for certification for games to come to Xbox and all the other jargon, all of it adds up to be not a great time.
Nah. The XSX is much better than the X1, way better hardware, has backwards compatibility (some anyway), and I can play games on game pass that I would never have tried before.

It’s way bigger than even that. When you own the biggest RISK in gaming which is the biggest IP and most expensive to make call of duty, world of Warcraft etc. and when you are SOLELY responsible for that PLUS the whole business you owned before that well. All I can say is good luck. The only avenue for them to even break even and start generating profit is to ditch the console business. Take their IP and publish. Remove the loss from the equation. Xbox fans are being so shortsighted. Stop clinging to the brand. It’s cooked. The console was fun, but there’s more money to be made owning the games the exist in all spaces

@@jaimelebron2241 yeah because these games get you at first glance with big shiny graphics and all the buzz words like ray tracing but they have zero lasting power. You play them, finish them and forget about them. Nintendo might not have the graphical power but I can say this, I can finish their games and go back again and again because they are fun. Remember when they’d review a game and they had a score for Replayability? That category in scoring games is gone now because very few games do people want to replay.

Xbox deserves everything coming their way. As a gaming company you should not be going around providing ways to access the exclusivity of what the console provides by giving options for people to play everywhere they like and want
Exclusivity works for nintendo but it is not so good for MS who like the concept of being service providers. The cross play between machines is more important since people own many devices. I think timed exclusivity is the way forward.
@@UToobUsername01 Timed exclusives were a thing before, it likely hurt sales more than anything. If you are going to release something on multiple systems it's best to do it as close together as possible. Many games that were temporarily exclusive on one system were not bought much when released on other systems as many gamers just watched gameplay online, saw the story etc. and couldn't be bothered to pay full price for an "old" game. Exclusives made sense back when they was loads of games coming out each year, numerous of which being exclusive to particular consoles but we are not getting many decent game releases every year anymore. Another thing to note is the attitude of gamers have changed and want convenience over the needless console war which only devided them.

I own a Legeon gaming Laptop. As a previous owner of various Xbox’s and PlayStation consoles I think the biggest issue with Xbox is Phil Spencer. I absolutely loved the 360 and the PS4 but it’s just not the same anymore 😢
Since the pc gamepass is cannibalizing the console game sales and the consoles as well why not officially install windows on the console.. that way their consoles would get sold out.

Yeah I'm moving to PC gaming & retro consoles, I'll keep my Series X/PS5 still but I don't have much hope left in this generation & in future consoles in general, I think Nintendo is the only one that shows promise, their Switch/games sales show's it & I'm looking forward to the Switch 2, not hyped... but interested enough, hell even handheld PC's are more interesting than consoles now, also Microsoft Windows 11 is absolute trash! but that's making gaming on Linux even more popular.
I’ve been doing something really fun with my Xbox ultimate subscription. I’ve been playing the cloud on my oculus quest two headset. It’s not the game don’t run in VR, but you play on a massive screen in the first day I did it. It was cool really cool because I’m laying on my bed in the TV. The virtual one was so close to my face that it felt like I was really in the game, but after my battery on the headset almost died and the only last for two hours don’t know how much it last for streaming I started to get a headache and a face ache because the screen was so damn close but the second day which would be last night. I played it again, but I updated the quest and the TV. The virtual one was different. It wasn’t in my face that much. I’m going to try it again and actually sit in a chair this time and see what happens but it puts you in a big dome like a theater but I remember one time Xbox is E3. They were talking about these glasses like VR for Minecraft and then after that I didn’t hear anything about them again so if they have VR glasses, I think those would be more comfortable to play the cloud on a massive screen for long play sessions so after my VR headset pretty much died I went back to my Xbox console and continued the game, but the cloud has improved a lot since it came out. They have party chat on it nowand I wasn’t lagging in the game or stuttering that much I was playing fallout 76 so there is a lot of action in that game when there’s a bunch of inmates around.

When your opponent is bigger and stronger than you… you have to make his strengths his weaknesses. So far MICROSOFT HAS DONE THIS. At the end of the day. It’s about capital. Bringing in the green. Remember when Microsoft put Windows on Linux after the monopoly lawsuit? They wasn’t worrying about exclusives since then. They ARE THE CONSOLE. Sony’s whole playing field has been changed. Exclusives now hurt them and their global market share now moves some of MS software. Malebolgia himself could’nt be anymore proud with this deal.
That's what I have been saying but people don't think. Providing the service that gets onto other platforms boosts the brand. People don't seem to understand that if a game like minecraft is playable on all systems and MS owns it they can make money selling the DLC on more platforms that its playable on. More audience to buy things means increase store presence. That equals more profit. When you mention minecraft people don't give a F because it's a game with crap graphics. But the principle is th same. That is why you want to own the game developers and content creators but you don't want to limit it to one system. You want the game to be crossplay and then when people buy DLC, guess who makes money on the sale of digital items? MS! So having that game appear on only one platform (the xbox) will only stunt your profit won't it? Having said that: it doesn't mean MS can't pick and choose what to make exclusive on a case by case basis when they wish to. They still have that power. So it's not like you won't see exlcusives at all. Just that the old way of just having exclusives to make your Xbox-only customer happy is not a big a deal these days. If you only own an xbox you are not going to suddenly stop enjoying games like Forza just because sony fans can play it. In fact if that game is cross play you might be happy because your PS5-owning friend at school can now race with you. The problem with fanboys is how short-sighted they are.

I'm wicked concerned about the future of Xbox. I refuse to go all digital or streaming and that seems to be the direction that Microsoft & Xbox have become hellbent on implementing onto anyone in the Xbox eco-system. Guess I'm a Nintendo person now?

did microsoft stop making prebuilts? only hardware I know of that they stopped making is zune and phones. How exactly is that really working out for Xbox? Especially considering ultimately they have a wider reach with Amazon firestick or putting an app on Devices like smart TV. Ugh, Microsoft as a whole should be worried about what is going to be the biggest impact in the American gaming industry as a whole. If you know the human mind, once you strip them of what makes people the most happy in life, all hell breaks loose. PalWorld is in the center of Microsoft as whole. Both on PC AND XBOX. And fans and creators are going to be loosing it as Nintendo going to sniping hard on anyone that even remotely looks like one of the many patents that Nintendo owns. I hope Xbox is Maliki a new pc-console with a lot of power and options to upgrade so we can get a prebuilt pc and smash the ps5pro. We need something that can h die gta 6 with 4K and 60fps or full hd and 120 fps. I also want to play msfs 2024 with 120 fps in full hd. And I miss star citizen that I played on pc, so I hope Xbox makes console-pcs where you can also play games like star citizen.
I think you need to cover more arcade games because you focus far too much RPGs. I know its your favourite genre but sometimes you make my attention switch off. Its your channel do what you want of course. But beef it up a bit im the end user and still love your show but variety the spice of Life.

If there are two things i hate, at the XBOX division then it is: Phil Spencer and Satya Nadella "It´s only those 4 games, neither Starfield nor Indiana Jones will release on ps5." A few months later Indiana Jones, were announced for ps5 which is enough reason for me to skip this game. Not even through XBOX Gamepass i will play Indiana Jones. Since Phil Spencer and Satya Nadella seems to love gamers on playstation this much, let them buy those games at full price which won´t happen. We all saw how bad Hi - Fi Rush, Grounded, Pentiment and Sea of Thieves performed on the ps5.

Hey look up a local PC store. You can ask if they make pc. That what I did. Pay a ex 100 or 200 for them to put it together 900 pc become 100. But going that it 8 old out and still runs. Price isn't bad. Look at the pros. It been a bit more. But you can emulator or pirate and save tons of cash.
I dropped my gamepass this month for the first time since 2008 Microsoft isn't getting my money. They've lost their way. I cheered the Activision deal more than anybody but now they hate white dudes and I can't support that. I bought ps5 and the ps+is dope. Those triggers are awesome too. M I'm not saying I won't be back. I still play that thing now and then but I want then to know I'm not supporting what they stand for

It’s way bigger than even that. When you own the biggest RISK in gaming which is the biggest IP and most expensive to make call of duty, world of Warcraft etc. and when you are SOLELY responsible for that PLUS the whole business you owned before that well. All I can say is good luck.

You play them, finish them and forget about them. Nintendo might not have the graphical power but I can say this, I can finish their games and go back again and again because they are fun. Xbox deserves everything coming their way. As a gaming company you should not be going around providing ways to access the exclusivity of what the console provides by giving options for people to play everywhere they like and want
Exclusivity works for nintendo but it is not so good for MS who like the concept of being service providers. The cross play between machines is more important since people own many devices. I think timed exclusivity is the way forward.

If you are going to release something on multiple systems it's best to do it as close together as possible. Many games that were temporarily exclusive on one system were not bought much when released on other systems as many gamers just watched gameplay online, saw the story etc. and couldn't be bothered to pay full price for an "old" game. Exclusives made sense back when they was loads of games coming out each year, numerous of which being exclusive to particular consoles but we are not getting many decent game releases every year anymore. Another thing to note is the attitude of gamers have changed and want convenience over the needless console war which only devided them.

I own a Legeon gaming Laptop. As a previous owner of various Xbox’s and PlayStation consoles I think the biggest issue with Xbox is Phil Spencer. I absolutely loved the 360 and the PS4 but it’s just not the same anymore 😢

I’ve been doing something really fun with my Xbox ultimate subscription. I’ve been playing the cloud on my oculus quest two headset. It’s not the game don’t run in VR, but you play on a massive screen in the first day I did it. It was cool really cool because I’m laying on my bed in the TV. The virtual one was so close to my face that it felt like I was really in the game, but after my battery on the headset almost died and the only last for two hours don’t know how much it last for streaming I started to get a headache and a face ache because the screen was so damn close but the second day which would be last night. I played it again, but I updated the quest and the TV. The virtual one was different. It wasn’t in my face that much. I’m going to try it again and actually sit in a chair this time and see what happens but it puts you in a big dome like a theater but I remember one time Xbox is E3. They were talking about these glasses like VR for Minecraft and then after that I didn’t hear anything about them again so if they have VR glasses, I think those would be more comfortable to play the cloud on a massive screen for long play sessions so after my VR headset pretty much died I went back to my Xbox console and continued the game, but the cloud has improved a lot since it came out. They have party chat on it nowand I wasn’t lagging in the game or stuttering that much I was playing fallout 76 so there is a lot of action in that game when there’s a bunch of inmates around.
They raised the subscription too soon instead of letting it become a lifestyle.

I would be too if I had no clue on what a Trojan horse was. When your opponent is bigger and stronger than you… you have to make his strengths his weaknesses. So far MICROSOFT HAS DONE THIS. At the end of the day. It’s about capital. Bringing in the green. Remember when Microsoft put Windows on Linux after the monopoly lawsuit? They wasn’t worrying about exclusives since then. They ARE THE CONSOLE. Sony’s whole playing field has been changed. Exclusives now hurt them and their global market share now moves some of MS software. Malebolgia himself could’nt be anymore proud with this deal.
That's what I have been saying but people don't think. Providing the service that gets onto other platforms boosts the brand. People don't seem to understand that if a game like minecraft is playable on all systems and MS owns it they can make money selling the DLC on more platforms that its playable on. More audience to buy things means increase store presence. That equals more profit. When you mention minecraft people don't give a F because it's a game with crap graphics. But the principle is th same. That is why you want to own the game developers and content creators but you don't want to limit it to one system. You want the game to be crossplay and then when people buy DLC, guess who makes money on the sale of digital items? MS! So having that game appear on only one platform (the xbox) will only stunt your profit won't it?
Having said that: it doesn't mean MS can't pick and choose what to make exclusive on a case by case basis when they wish to. They still have that power. So it's not like you won't see exlcusives at all. Just that the old way of just having exclusives to make your Xbox-only customer happy is not a big a deal these days. If you only own an xbox you are not going to suddenly stop enjoying games like Forza just because sony fans can play it. In fact if that game is cross play you might be happy because your PS5-owning friend at school can now race with you.

did microsoft stop making prebuilts? only hardware I know of that they stopped making is zune and phones. They never stopped making PCs peripherals, games. and their console market is the 3rd largest in the world. 35 million consoles is a lot of consoles no matter how you shake it. 35 million of any device is good no matter how you toss that salad, MANY hardware manufacturers would KILL for that number. steam deck sold like 2-5 million units. Hey look up a local PC store. You can ask if they make pc. That what I did. Pay a ex 100 or 200 for them to put it together 900 pc become 100. But going that it 8 old out and still runs. Price isn't bad. Look at the pros. It been a bit more. But you can emulator or pirate and save tons of cash.
Do it!! You won't regret it, there's plenty of PC building guides on youtube, and if you live in the States, I recommend Micro Center.

I dropped my gamepass this month for the first time since 2008 Microsoft isn't getting my money. They've lost their way. I cheered the Activision deal more than anybody but now they hate white dudes and I can't support that. I bought ps5 and the ps+is dope. Those triggers are awesome too. M I'm not saying I won't be back. I still play that thing now and then but I want then to know I'm not supporting what they stand for
I don't want to upset anyone but in my little humble opinion Xbox should probably try adding more masculine and less woke games. I understand that a lot of kids play games but so do adults. And we are hungry for more games like Space Marine 2.
