Rich Gannon was outstanding Quarterback back in the day when he was played for the Oakland Raiders and their first winning season was with wonderful success and I miss watching them in Oakland,California and now they are in Las Vegas
How the hell did this team not win a Superbowl if not 2 in the early 2000's is beyond me. I became a Raider fan in 1983 when they demolished the Redskins. I was 10 and lived in the Bay Area with my family. I grew up in Niner Country, but held firm to my Silver & Black. When they returned in '95 back to Oakland, I was on cloud nine and now 22 years old young and fiery. I loved and (hated) them the time they were here and remain loyal. Now I'm 46 my team has left for the desert in Las Vegas and dealing with this bullshit pandemic. Man wtf ???? Win, lose, or tie Raider till I die 🤟🏻🍺🏴☠️
Man , Greg Papas voice is just so nostalgic to this specific raiders era . Just remember being in elementary school listening to games on the radio and then remember being able to go to a home game and they would have the radio announcers on in the bathroom and halls . Going to miss the raiders In Oakland . Cmon LV raiders get back to the playoffs !
For sure they would have definitely blew out Giants, I was so disappointed when they lost to Ravens, when they gave up that touchdown on 3rd and 18 they had the Ravens pinned on their 4 yard line and Gannon getting injured, what could have been.
Best Raider game fa me was Halloween vs Seattle 2010 right after dey got Marshawn I was sick as he'll da at a.m. but my lady got my azz up n said u bought dese tix we goin!! After I hit Tha Bomb n brew Town Bizz errday
@@Dutchmaster707 That's irrelevant. Lott is in the HoF because of his time with SF. Same for Montana or Marcus Allen. They made their name and HoF because of their time with their former teams.
Once Gannon went down in the championship game from that dirty pancake flop by fatso Siragusa it was over. Following year the Tom Brady snow job!! The I believe our biggest mistake in Raider history was when Davis traded Gruden!! WHY??????? That was Al Davis's biggest mistake ever!!!(His spiraling health shown that to be true) and that came back to destroy us in the SB, and for many years after.... Hopefully we get back to our winning ways in Vegas. its been tough these past 20 years..........
Just remember in the 2000 afc championship game Bobby Hoying kept you guys in the game before he threw that errant interception in the end zone to Jaimie Sharper.
But they got down early in the game 7-0 to a great defense team also, if the Raiders could have somehow forced a punt they would have good field position which could have changed the outcome of the game.
Losing Eric Turner was the difference in not going to the Super Bowl that year. No way ET would have let Shannon Sharpe score. Could have changed the momentum of that game.
I remember this season so vividly. Return to Glory was theme all year since the last season ended. Was supposed to be first Super Bowl of 2 or 3 at least coming up. We all know what happened. But watching this season might be my new cure for depression, mental illness, drug dependence and alcoholism. 4 LIFE YOU NO GOOD GOODELL POS. WHY NFL HAD TO KILL GRUDEN WHY!!! AAAAAAARRRRGGHHH
We didn't win the super bowl because of d.t. Tony The Goose Siragusa injured q.b. Rich Gannon in the AFC Champioship Game. He damn near broke Gannon's arm.
Losing Turner really show in the Champions game. Pope took a bad angle and that was all she wrote. I always think what if we had signed R. Woodson before the Ravens.

Thank you for watching the raiders and being a lil troll showing you need to fallow what big daddy does at all times. Only a DUMBASS goes on a page of a team he doesn't like.
@@englandismycity1617 Oh yeah, I'm so sure. Gannon had led the Raiders to exactly zero points when he got hurt. You wouldn't have won shit with him. But that's the whole Raiders history... Rest In Peace Mr. Carl Weathers🙏🙏🙏
Once a Raider, Always a Raider!
I miss having a defense and I totally remember that 2000 roster
I’m gonna miss Oakland and great Raiders teams like this. Now it’s on to Las Vegas. Go Raiders! 💯☠️🏴☠️

The Dream Team. Those years were FUN
Technically the ‘Dream Team’ wasn’t till ‘01 when Rice came, but this team was vicious
Winningest team between 1963-2000 sounds like 37 years of "dream team"
But Riison caught Dat TD vs Baltimore!!!
This and the 2002 team was one of our best teams to not win it all!
Lets get bakk to these VIBES #RAIDERNATION 💯🎯🖤💀🏈🏆🤞🏾💪🏾

Blame cheapskate owner Mark Davis and the city of Oakland for not having the money to finance a new stadium.
Lost ET. The play on Sharp by Pope killed us. The Ravens kicked all field goals. Our D was nice too. 3-16
@@raider7782 it’s frustrating when your offense can’t move the ball and score points. Today’s game is offensive driven.

Nope, the 2002 team.
It's because (so far) it was the recent Raider team to reach the Super Bowl.

Thank u for this! ☠️
Gruden gone bring back this yr and Vegas the raiders going to the playoffs
Can’t wait to see our next one when we win the super bowl this year
AFC west is super tough this year it's going to be very difficult
You see Gannon getting those easy yards that is what Carr has to do this year or Marriota will sorry Carr prove me wrong
Danny Reyes Mariota isn’t better than Carr. That’s just the truth
Carr is better than Mariota but i agree carr needs to stop playing scared and be more aggressive and take those easy yards
Cisko Perez that’s also fact! He needs to find that fire again
All I know is that no matter who is at QB, they better fix this defense that has been in the bottom for years!
7:58 the Gruden we THOUGHT we were getting in 2018 😢
Gruden is responsible for this team's success this season. He put this team together
20 Years Ago I Was 14 Years Old About To Turned The Age Of 15 Years Old In The Month Of November 2000
Gannon was a beast
Jon Gruden with the Raiders in 2000?
Tony Siragusa did a dirty play he intentionally tried to break Rich Gannon's arm in the AFC Championship game.
We need that defense in 2021!!!!!
Losing Eric Turner was the difference in not going to the Super Bowl that year. No way ET would have let Shannon Sharpe score. Could have changed the momentum of that game.

I think the Raiders biggest problems have been bad drafting.
IF TONY SIRAGUSA DOESN'T PURPOSELY INJURE RAIDERS QUATERBACK RICH GANNON. THE RAIDERS WOULD HAVE PROBABLY WON THE 2000 AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.
Anyone know why the raiders played Carolina that year? They both finished 3rd in 99 which means they shouldn’t play each other
@Deee Vooo nfc south didn’t exist in 2000. You should research the schedule formula before 2002.
Losing Turner really show in the Champions game. Pope took a bad angle and that was all she wrote. I always think what if we had signed R. Woodson before the Ravens.
Why did They traded him?
Almost returned to glory. They lost the AFC title game. Winning the Super Bowl is a return to glory like 1980.
