I am a 15 year old born to parents of different religions. My mom is a Christian and my dad is a Muslim. Ever since I can remember they were both fighting about the religion I should choose. My dad would force me by hitting me to go to a school where they teach Islam because I wanted to go to church. One day, my mom and I were ready to go to church and then before we went, it turned into a huge physical fight and I was hurt. As I grew older, I realized that my dad only wants what's best for me and my siblings but I just feel this burning anger inside of me because if only he knew the truth which is Jesus. I am really grateful to God because he found me when I was lost and showed me the way to him which is Jesus Christ. I recently went to the doctors and the doctor discovered that I have a lump in my breast and today I am praying that my mammogram and my ultrasound results will be normal and I am praying that I DO NOT have cancer. I am a single mother of a 3 year old little girl that needs me and relies on me for everything, so I need to be here and healthy for her because I don’t have any family here in Canada with me.
