Thanks Doris for another inspiring tutorial, i like the idea that you use your videos to teach, rather than using loud and distracting rhetoric, again thanks and much♥
Thank you for this video. I had no idea that you could sublimate on Photo paper but I tried it and it worked. That's a game changer for me. Thanks again.
I tried that with another brand and it was a disaster! Thanks for the recommendation on Pen and Gear brand. I also did lamination on cardstock but it make it bend. It works though.
Thanks for this tutorial. You're very patient and thorough. But I have a question. Why print sublimation and heat press when you can just pass the glossy photo paper through your inkjet and print directly on it? Is there a reason? Or do I need sublimation to do this? Please explain I wanna make my son a master chief notebook.
Doris Thank you for sharing. I’ve learned so much from watching this tutorial. You are awesome. What type of machine did you use to sublimate the imagine?
Since everyone doesn't do sublimation I made this a regular print and cut. But yes you can sublimate your image on cardstock using a-sub or any sub paper.
@@dorisedwards58 sorry to be a pain. I have glossy card stock from WM and I have a Cricut Maker. So I can cut the cover replacement with the holes like you showed. Then print the print on glossy and glue (?) that to the replacement cover?
@@dorisedwards58 sorry it's taken me this long to reply, but I got it. After going back over and over, I noticed that you had basic cut and not print and cut. Another question, though, what pressure are you using when pressing the sub sheet onto the notebook page? Thank you for repling!
It's still sold on Etsy better deal than I got. Look up FreshKreationz you can get 7 templates for $3.80. I'm about to upload a new tutorial on these now
Thank You so very much Doris for sharing this great informative video tutorial I have learned a lot I feel that I can do this now ♥️
You are very welcome! You are right You can do this! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Glossy photo paper can be used but the coating can be scratched easily, so your image will be compromised, With sublimation that is not an isse
@dorisedwards58 ohhhh thanks for explaining! Might have to print on a matte thick cardstock then. Thanks so much!
I can’t wait to try this!! Thank you for showing step by step!
Great Tutorial! I appreciate you!
TY 001hall!
Great video
Thanks!
Hello! Love your video a year later and i hope all is well with you. Im wondering how you bypassed resizing your paper and mat in cricut?
I wonder if you can scan a notebook cover to make a template
Maybe I've not not tried that
Can you use color desk jet or office printer that’s not ink jet?
@@stephaniecartagena1347 I'm not familiar with those. If their just regular printers it should be fine
Do you have a video on the PowerPoint? This is gorgeous.

TY very much Marie! I have the Epson WF 7720 printer and I have a 16x24 Heat press.
Doris do you have a cover template?
Thank you so much for this video. Can you use ASub paper on this project? I see you did not.

@@dionnemarieBoutique I try to reply to everyone because you took the time to watch my tutorial and I'm truly here to help you learn.
Great video. I know you used sublimation paper. But do you need a sublimation printer also?
For this one I used sub ink and sub paper, but you can you can just print the image on regular card stock too.
@@dorisedwards58 If printed on regular card stock, does it just get glued to the front? It won’t look as professional as yours, right?
@@conniel.4601 You can get Glossy photo cardstock and it will be just as nice. I've done both

The note pad template is no longer available could you please share your template with me
After uploading into design space, it says that the 8x10.5 template is too large. What is it that I need to do?
I want to do this so bad but so confused on the process with the tape and how the paper was bigger and how twirls were made :(
I downloaded an 8x10.5 template, on design space but it's saying it's too large. What am I doing wrong?
What cutting machine are you using?
