- This is from Philza's stream. Holy shit I knew Philza would eventually join the Dream SMP, but I didn't expect to see him join DURING the final battle itself. Philza along with ConnorEatsPants and Captain Puffy have joined the server for season 2!

Wilbur was the real traitor. Wilbur and Dream agreed that no matter what, the tnt would explode. He had no intention of winning back l'manburg, just destruction.
Techno wasn't a traitor at all. He just stuck to his own beliefs. Techno joined tommy and wilbur and agreed on overthrowing the government. He attacked tommy because he used techno and went against technos beliefs

@wowza You could say that every side was right in their own ways. Wilbur was right because he knew even if he somehow got L'manberg back, it would be illegitimate, and he can't stand to see his country deteriorate from the great nation it once was at the hands of others. He blew it up because he knows that even under the leadership of Tubbo, L'manberg would never be the same.
Technoblade was right in his cause to eliminate the government because both times a government took control of L'manberg, tragedy befell it. Techno was ultimately still on Wilbur's side because he supported Wilbur that no one besides him can own L'manberg, and since L'manberg is already long gone, he destroyed it and Techno helped by using the withers.
Tommy was right because he always believed that L'manberg could be rescued so he actively stopped Wilbur from detonating the TNT multiple times. Tommy didn't want L'manberg destroyed but Wilbur insisted and ultimately blew it up.
Ultimately, there was no L'manberg Vs Manberg it was all Wilbur VS Tommy and Tubbo.
So Wilbur lost it. Phil called Wilbur his son and what the heck happened

@@cakeman2867 I found it helpful to go back and watch different POVs. For example, watch AT LEAST Wilburs and Tommy's. I personally watched Wilbur/Tommy/Techno/Phil and I think it helped a lot.
People who watched Eret missed the conversation between Wilbur and Phil, people who watched Wilbur missed most of the Techno stuff.... like I don't blame you for thinking its chaotic because it totally is lol

Funny how people think it's not roleplay and hate certain streamers for it.
What happens in the story of the Dream SMP is scripted, but everyone can improvise and do whatever they want to some extent. That's why Philza was getting updated by his chat on the situation, so he could be just on time for Wilbur.
Also, during Techno's speech, everyone stands back while Tommy is the only one forward, making the scene more drammatic. Tell me that wasn't planned.

I can tell that Phil is trying really struggling to do the bit.
I love how Dream was both lying and not lying whenever he said there wasnt a traitor and that he just said there was to make them anxious and mess with them. Despite the fact that there wasnt actually a concrete traitor who was 100% sure of their status as one and who routinely fed important info to the other side - like many of us assumed - Dream knew that Techno would most likely turn villainous if he didnt get the anarchy that he wanted, and he also knew that Wilbur was incredibly unstable and that he desperately wanted to push the button to end things with a bang (yes, that pun was intended). He knew that at least ONE PERSON would betray pogtopia in the end and that he could say they were the traitor if doing so became beneficial for him. Like how he shocked/somewhat weakened Tommy by telling him it was Wilbur after Tommy was already betrayed by Techno.

As soon as Wilbur said he’d be back Phil knew something was up and I love it.
As soon as Wilbur turned around and Phil instantly appeared, it made me wonder if Phil was the one who removed the redstone. Tones of possibilities slipt my mind, but with the Dream SMP being so busy due to war it made me reassess if he had managed to quickly enter the server and remove the redstone with no one being online or realising if he was online. I've now determined there is only a 25% chance he did it. I think Schlatt must have found it but then why wouldn't he have blown up the tnt room or at least remove it?

i like how phil looked at tommy before he killed wilbur, it was for tommy.
i watched a clip of philza joining and finding wilbur. and the tone of philza kinda made me kinda tear up cause you could hear the dispair in his voice.
