I too used to be on Isotretinoin and my derma required me to have lab tests done first due to all the possible side effects that can arise. After doing one round, my skin improved for a while but after a year or so my acne started coming out again. My derma then adviced me to go to an OB GYNE since my acne breakouts are hormone related. I found out through my OB GYNE that I have PCOS. It usually helps to consult with your OB and have your hormones checked so you have more options for treatments, before taking something as strong as Isotret. 😊
Well, it's nice to know that Aivee clinic prescribes isotretinoin because A LOT of aesthetic clinics in the Philippines would only offer topical solutions/laser/whatsoever only available in their clinic, which will only rob you and does not give a long-term solution. If assessed and evaluated properly for acne, Isotretinoin for me is the only oral medication for acne, nothing else. I was under isotretinoin too and despite the precautions during the course, I loved it because everything is simplified, esp. with skincare, within the period of the treatment and it's for a long-term solution. Wala masyadong arte sa skincare, has to be mild and basic because isotretinoin will take care the rest of it. I started my isotretinoin in December 2016 ended around April or May 2017. That whole summer of 2017 I was never oily at all but not dry I could wear my makeup the entire day looking good with no retouch literally I wish not to stop using isotretinoin but not allowed, it's not good for the liver. My oil was controlled for a year or two after the course and no acne at all. I started getting 1-2 pimples but RARELY happens after the 2nd year it doesn't bother me as it heals fast and responds well to topical unlike before. It's my 5th year after the course of istotret and no more problems anymore with regards to acne. People suffering from acne can discuss this kind of treatment with a PDS-certified dermatologist, doesn't have to be with Aivee, and will probably save more. They have a website with list of providers near your area. I think nagpamahal sa treatment ni sissy is may treatment na ginawa in the clinic which hindi naman ako familiar how beneficial it is in conjunction with isotretinoin but i think for the most part okay na si isotret. Syempre Aivee has a moltitude of machines so todo market, pang ROI pa yun ng pinabili na machine. HAHAHA I'm on my 5th-year post-treatment of istotret and happy talaga, I wish I started early and guys start early talaga because the scars caused by your acne are way more difficult and expensive to treat. Treat acne to prevent scarring. :)
Isotret is being prescribed by deirma for treatment of severe acne. I took that years ago and it proved to clear your skin but it's not advisable for women who have plans to get pregnant. Derma usually advises that to clients. Side effects also include lip dryness.
You know what, i had acne breakout for years, i spent tons of money and went to diiferent dermatologists, pabalik balik lang acne ko, gagaling , tapos babalik uli, i even developed inferiority complex until finally, i went to this derma who was honest enough to tell me, no matter what meds/ treatment i give you, it’ll only be a temporary solution, doc said , what i have is hormonal imbalance, he prescribed birth control pills which he said i shld take for 6 months , but i only took it for 3 months and my face cleared up. I never had acne again till now.
I have derma in Caloocan that's really inexpensive but really cured my acne. Procedure was also extraction/facial around P600+ includes peeling for the pimple marks and also I took accutane/isotretinoin for couple months cause external medication were not enough. Accutane I think around 1500 or 1700. It was really inexpensive and a long process but worth it. I am here in Singapore currently during pandemic and cannot go to my derma in the Philippines. I have occassional breakouts but not as bad as before which affected my whole face Tyaga at patience lang din talaga at buti affordable yung napuntahan ko
I've binge watched your vids and really I must say how real, truthful and authentic you are. Please please stay that way even if you get sponsors na. Thank you so much! Subscribed! Liked! Commented!❤❤❤
Isotret was the only thing that controlled my acne in my teenage years successfully. I was so happy. After the isotret course, I would still get acne but much much milder than before I got on it. Side effects? Dry skin. Fast forward to several years after (I’m 35 now), I have developed seborrheic dermatitis and eczema. Tbh, I’m not sure if these two are related to me getting on isotret prior but sometimes I feel like it may have triggered it or at least made my body prone to them.
I had a lot of cystic acne before and visited a dermatologist in the US. The nurse practitioner just prescribed me isotretinoin and benzoyl peroxide. After 1 month, my face started to clear. I just spent $40 for the consultation and the medication was just $60. No other treatments and my skin has cleared.
Grabeee ang mahal nga! But duh, we will do everything to have clear skin. Tama. Stop ka muna trying other products. Lam ko din feeling na grabeeee kapag may pimples and any skin related talaga.
Hi! I’m also taking my 2nd round of isotret! I started this month (10th day)! My 1st round was way back 2016, cystic acne all over my forehead, took isotret (isonoin) 20mg everyday for 6-7months I think? Purged like hell on the 3rd month, dry lips, corners of the nose, body and delayed menstrual cycle. That’s about it. But my acne re-occurred again this time not on my forehead but on my cheeks, w/c is very distracting. Went to a derma changed my skin care routine with their in-house prod, and did a salicylic peel for 6 sessions, I did these for a year (whole 2020) there are changes but it didn’t REALLY clear me out. So my derma finally gave me an option to take a 2nd round of isotret same dose but this time with a different brand (acnetrex). For me, I feel more assured that my face will get over this because I’m taking isotret. But kinda scared because of the purge phase, hopefully I dont’t purge too much like the last time. We just have to stick out our heads to the positive side and hope for the best! 💕✨ Let’s finish this 2nd round together! Be strong!☺️
Hi Colleen! Thank you for taking the time to share this with me 🥺 I took isotret for around 7 mos too back in 2017 and purged like crazy too on the third month! Wahhh I hope our skin clears up this 2021 again!! Although my skin now / the recent breakout isnt suuuper bad like before, its was more of a preventive measure thats why I'm on a very low dose of acnotin again. Yass!! Stay safe always 🙏🏼🥰🥰💕
@@AnnelleLansangan yeah, my second breakout wasn’t as bad as the first one also. But yours is way less than mine, that’s why I kinda understand why you got a low dose of isotret☺️ Let’s burn our money together haha 😅 Stay safe also! 💕
@Miracle there are many variables that can trigger re-occurence..maybe you’ve been given a wrong dosage, baka lower dosage naibigay sayo, hindi nakumpleto ang program, hindi sapat yung interval ng program, PCOS etc. May small possibility parin na mag re-occur ang acne even with proper dosage. Best thing is to consult your derma for this. I know it’s frustrating, but you’ll get a clearer answer from them. If you’re not satisfied with your previous derma, look for a PDS certified dermatologist ☺️
@Miracle no worries, one of the side effects of taking isotret is your skin will be drier, so mababawasan yung pagka-oily mo haha. I’m taking Acnetrex not sure if they have it in Saudi tho, Roaccutane is a pretty popular brand in some countries. A friend of my sister in Oman took Roaccutane too and got good results. Actually accutane is really fitting para sa mga ganyang cases moderate to severe. In which topical medication can’t control your skin anymore. Expensive, but effective. For the skincare, don’t overthink about it. I can’t really name/recommend you what to use kasi what works for me, might not work to you. But while on isotret it is important have a very hydrating moisturizer and also sunscreen! Because your skin will be more sensitive to the sun. Your derma will probably suggest you with just a simple skin care routine to help you through the isotret journey, kasi yung isotret talaga will do the hard work mostly and your skin care will just back it up, no need for fancy skin care. ☺️👍🏼
@Miracle ohhh haha! Mali pala pagkakaintindi ko 😄 ohhh! Thanks! 😄 Not a fan of in-house prods too, especially pag di mo pa talaga kilala yung derma, kaya as much as possible umiiwas rin ako dun. Celeteque is a good brand. Gentle and cheap why don’t you start there first? Bunch of good feed backs doon. I also did some treatments for a year as suggested by my dr. akala ko it’ll be gone but nope, well nabawasan but hindi siya totally nawala, which is really upsetting kasi I wasted tons of money for a whole year to get that result. Sana nga I told my dr nalang kung pwede ako mag isotret that time haha (regrets) Kaya mas gusto ko mag isotret uli kasi that solved my problem when I first took it. Mas panatag loob ko na mawawala talaga acne ko using isotret. Keber sa side effects kasi I know worth it naman after the program. Why did mine re-occur? I honestly don’t know. Followed my derms orders to have healthy lifestyle, drink enough water, sleep early ,etc. But they’re still on my face. Naisip ko maybe it’s really just the genes (dad is acne-prone). Before going through isotret, make sure that comfortable ka sa derma mo, dahil siya talaga makakasagot sa mga concerns mo, good communication with your dr. is important para matulungan ka niya throughout sa journey mo. Went through a few derm also before I found my current one☺️ If you want to look for pds certified derma, you can go to their website pds.org.ph you can search there the nearest certified derma within your area. I know some also offer free consultation! Tignan mo nalang sa website nila ☺️👍🏼

No need for aivee clinic. Simple lang. 1. Dont touch face when hands are dirty. So wash hands muna. 2. Avoid sun exposure lalo na yung tanghali. 6am-7am sun is safe. 3. Drink lots of water. 4. Avoid make up. Natural beauty is the best.
It is easy to say these things when you don't know what a person had to go through because of acne. She just did what she thinks was best for her, and that is to consult an expert dermatologist.
@@pennywiseredloons3103 mayber it works for you, lucky you, but not for everybody. Some might really need an expert to see if there's a medical problem to be adress by an expert. My point here is, if you say this to anybody who suffer from acne they might think that the problem is mostly their poor hygiene, and it was just bacteria that you need to clean everyday. Because for me who gone through that phase can really tell that I did everything you point out above, but still needed an expert to really clear it out.

Thank you!
It is easy to say these things when you don't know what a person had to go through because of acne. She just did what she thinks was best for her, and that is to consult an expert dermatologist.
@@janinedorado4645 💯🥺
@@janinedorado4645 i actually do know. Been there, done that janine. Thats why it had been easy to say such.
I don't like the side effects too
