What I understood from the instructions, when you have one remaining downfaced card, you have the option to: 1)draw from the deck or discard pile to exchange/replace up face cards thus lowering your score. 2) or, you take from deck or discard pile to flip your final face down card up & ending the game. The goal of the game is to constantly reduce your card score (zero scores are great; "minus" scores are better. The strategic side of this is to outdo your opponent. I don't believe the total goal is to be the first to flip their last while you sit on higher points. It's wiser to keep drawing from pile or deck to minimize your points to their lowest number possible. One must take note, you may just have great cards from the beginning and chose to "go out", which forces your opponent to take their card value points as shown. In other words, this limits them to replace high numbered cards for lower ones before going out. This was also what I saw in another tutorial.
This is amazing
Hey thank you!!
This was by far the best explanation of this game that I have been able to find! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this!
Thank you so much for the kind words! It took me a bit to nail down the instructions haha so I really appreciate this. Great game too!
