I have a small question. Last time I was on snow/ice in Auli, I skidded a lot which has somewhat scared me. How do we move through all the ice? Do we carry spiked shoes as well normal shoes?

When on any of the winter treks or a pass crossover trek, where there is snow, we always provide micro spikes and gaiters to get a good grip on the terrain.

I want to do this trek in winter is it favourable?
This trek starts during the end of March and is closed in winter due to heavy snowfall. However, even if you do it in summer, you will find snow on the trails.
