It was nice to see the comrade between friends. Ines playfully hit the ball at Graf when coming up to the net after the match. Great stuff
Ines was one of Steffi's friends on the tour. Interesting to note how Steffi started off slow in this match too - she was down a long way against Savchenko. I think it was probably a sign of her looming physical problems.
T H I think she was starting to get sick. Not only was her knee tender. She was on antibiotics in her match with Coetzer.

Ines hit a heavy forehand indeed. Steffi did everything fast. She walked fast. She ran fast. She played fast and she DRANK fast. hahahaha
I heard an old friend of hers say those exact words Steffi ist eine tolles frau.
Pam Shriver said that eating a meal with Steffi was a similar experience. She'd finished everything before the others had barely started.
Graf is hitting so well in this match. She seemed to want to end the game real fast
She had a tendency to rush anyway, but I'm guessing Steffi was aware of her injury problems and wanted to get off court as quickly as possible
