    I'm pregnant with my first baby ❤️ I don't know what I'm having yet so I went with a darker gray with sparkles in it. I love it! This is probably the easiest tutorial I have ever followed. I'm am Almont completed this blanket I love it. Had a little set back I had a stroke in October I have swelling and brain bleed. I have paralysis! I had to learn how to use left side of my body and learning to reuse my left hand! Little challenging but it's been good sensory brain physical therapy holding the tapestry needle. I made the bear 🐻 booties. All I have to do is put all the squares together and the border. I'm extremely excited to complete it. Thank you Amanda for the clear and step by step teaching on your tutorial videos. You rock.

    Hey i have a doubt.... I am still a beginner so excuse my silly doubt. When weaving the ends ... should i end it with a knot or will weaving the end alone be enough? I am scared that the end will unravel ..kindly reply ☺️

      Weaving it is enough, no knot needed. Just be sure to weave it really thoroughly!

    How many balls of each yarn you used?

  • @joannajudson1107
    @joannajudson1107 2 года назад

    I love this blanket and I'm getting ready to start it, but I may have a problem. Your pattern says you used hobbit cotton yarn, 1.75 oz 115 yds. But when I looked at the hobbii yarn, it said it was 1.75 oz and 186 yds. I had planned on using lion brand truboo yarn weight #3. It's 3.5 oz and 241 yrds. I have 5 skeins. But now I don't know if I have enough. Bottom line, is it 7 skeins at 115 yrds each, or 7 skeins at 186 yrds each?

    • @MaisieandRuth
      @MaisieandRuth  2 года назад

      Hi JoAnna, I'm pleased to hear that you like this design! ☺️ I used Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/6, which has 115 yds per skein (the 8/4, which is more of a sport weight yarn, has 186 yds). 5 skeins in the main colour of your Lionbrand yarn will not be enough, however if you make less squares and therefore make your blanket a little smaller, then you'll be just fine 💝

We all thank you for the time that you take out from your busy day to do what you do for us. I have always found it hard to work in rounds until you came along. And for this always be grateful

    Can I follow this tutorial as a left handed crocheter in the same way?
    Edit: i do not think this is suitable for left handed people, I have the correct number of stitches when ive finished the bear but the incorrect number of stitches when I add the second colour - is this due to the fact I’m working clockwise as a left handed person?
