11 seasons ago we were in League One. It's absolutely mind blowing to see how far we have come since then and a lot of that is owed to Matthew Benham. He had the vision and brought in the right people in the right places to execute that plan, we've just gone from strength to strength. Still pinch myself sometimes to make sure this is real, if people knew about the "recent" history of Brentford this really shouldn't be possible, makes it even more impressive.
What an incredible man! For what hes achieved as a trailblazer in his profession, he still treats everyone with respect and doesn't take himself too seriously. Such a soft spot for him
Thomas Frank gives the most honest and open post match interviews. Fantastic manager. I really really hope his next job is a team in Europe so we can see him cut his teeth tactically then. I would love to work for him and play for him
I like Thomas Frank. He would be one of top three candidates for me to replace Arteta if/when he moves on. Really enjoyed Frank's insights on the Euros last summer.
Thomas Frank made Brentford a decent team and they went from being a tinpot club to a well established football club since they got promoted to the Premier League few season ago. I never thought that Brentford would do so well in the Premier League despite being called a “small club”.
As a Liverpool fan, this man exudes personality and charisma like Klopp did. Don't think he will struggle at a big club like many other quality managers did. An asset to the Premier League.
Recreating this atmosphere and level of control at a so-called 'bigger' club is the challenge for him if he were to leave. If he does go eventually, I'm not convinced it would be in the Premier League. A great man and a great coach, I'd love to have him at Saints!
