Hampster, we need an updated score board at the end of each episode. It would be cool to see the last 2-4 weeks and what the differentials on the scores were as well as the current total scores and who is winning

It is definitely only edited by Harstem, no cuts, Powerpoint presentation quality white boxes whenever they are on screen. All trademarked by the cap'n!

Well, at least showing the total score at the end of each episode would be nice.
I mean are they really expecting us RUclips consumers to do the math ourselves?

blue zerg's early base defense was actually pretty well thought out. the early creep tumor to allow the queens to transfuse on the ramp. also, the decently placed spine crawler

The best part was the 2 spine crawlers in the main waiting for the locusts. Like this is all so common that there is an established meta. Of course you put to spines on the edge of your creep in your main.

Wow, a great game, I had a lot of fun watching this!
Edit: Yeah, the MMR didn't surprise me at all,
I play rarely and only Gold1/Plat3, and those guys were much better than I am.
Good control, the Nydus was used well, yeah, that was Diamond without a doubt.
And on EU too (I play on EU).

Hey Harmstem, ever thought about uploading videos in higher definition? Even if the game is at 1080p, but you upload it, in, say, 2k resolution - youtube will give it more bandwidth, therefore making the quality even better.
Not crucial, but definitely would be nice to have.
Lowko, for example, does it in 4k, and there's some quality difference between his videos and yours.
    Thanks!

From an expert Swarm Nydus cheeser noob with only one useless talent who constantly gets flamed for how OP swarm host apparently are (? 😂) He should have immediately put down a spore and spine at the first nydus in a position that uses the mineral line for blocking smartly - dropped a creep tumor with a queen, launched only 2 swarm host to the low ground lings and held position with 2 of the locust in between the mineral line gap - launched the rest over the top to the opponents base and held position 1 locust in the mineral line. Keep another few swarm host building in the background and drop a new nydus up the top. Big damage to either eco or lings... or worst case a new hold position.

Red zerg messed up by trying to keep hitting into the queen/spire wall at the beginning of the game. I'd have picked off the hatch while the queens were holding. Alternatively use the early banes to blow the queens rather than kill larvae. Also threw the game by having no ability to micro the mutas out of parasitic bombs. Blue zerg's micro was impressive both in defense and offense.

I have 2 theories. Either Foundational is a 3400 player offracing, or plays primarily arcade games. Regardless, I'm going 2400.
as an aside, I can't believe how bad I am at this, I did very well at rank roulette

What type of replays are harstem and lambo looking for? what type of gameplay?

    • @colinlu9695
      @colinlu9695 Год назад

Am the replay selector/email reader, Harstem says anything that's 15 minutes or longer, with no other requirements. Other than that I try to use my best discretion. Gameplay, anything goes but whatever you think people would want to watch. Some brief info with what your name is (the submitter), MMR, server, and matchup is ideal, though typically I can still look people up on sc2pulse. Description of the match would be nice but isn't necessary, write as little or as much as you want :P
There's usually around 30 or so replays per week and I'll kind of randomly pick some to watch, after looking at the MMR and matchup, as well as the description. Usually I watch around 2-6 of them after filtering through MMR/matchup/description. I try to read the comments and/or look at what Harstem and Lambo say to get some ideas on what they or the audience want to watch, and I also try to pick a variety of MMRs and the matchups, if everything else is equal.
For anyone, let me know if there are other criteria you think I should use or if I should change my selection process, or if there are certain kinds of games you want to watch. Alternately you can lobby Harstem (or Lambo, but I'm not in touch with Lambo directly) to give me additional requirements on the games.

These Diamond players having no clue how to follow a basic opening build order is very reassuring to me as a current mid-plat player.
My openings are better, and my micro and macro are similar, I'm just bad at reacting properly to Protoss and Zerg opponents (Terran is easy to counter).
