SAA 40th Anniversary: Helgi Olafson

Helgi Olafson provides a personal greeting to SAA to commemorate its 40th anniversary of serving the spondyloarthritis community. Diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) at 19, Helgi Olafson has spent his adult life combating his degenerative auto-immune arthritis by staying active. As an endurance athlete living with Ankylosing Spondylitis, he completed the Triple Crown of 200s ultramarton, a 3,000 mile journey to benefit SAA.
