- It's finally time to see who will finally win this Game of BLADE between Dylan Bateup a local Rollerblade shredder from Caloundra Skatepark or myself an ex Rollerblade kid! Unfortunately the last match got rained out but we are back to find out if Dylan can win the chance to ride the RWilly Land Mega Ramp!

@@dennisthemenace5078 the comps in Europe are big. Why not pressure skate companies to send their riders over to Europe or Asia to compete there? We don’t need the X-Games, we need corporate sponsors for our own comps. It’s been made loud and clear that blading was kicked out of the x-games due to hate.

This kid is so much more badass than I ever was or will be. He goes _flying_ holy crap! I'm always surprised at how quickly the pros flip in the air, but with this kid it's like "oh wow, he went up so far, yeah, he _can_ do that flip!"

It's more gnarly on blades compared to scooters or bmx (when you are learning) cause when you're learning a scooter or bmx riders they have the option that if somethings going wrong they can bail out they can throw the bike or scooter and they're relatively safe with blades there's no bailing out so it's either do it or not... That's the scary part of going big on blades
I used to blade in between Bmxing just to change things up, like when I was trying to land a new trick and spend 300 runs failing, it always helped to get the blades on and get my head off the repetitiveness of trying a trick 300 times, i uses to love just simply airing over the spine but trying to add a big whip, end up at a 270 angel to the spine and brining it back round and land into the transition, felt so free, unlike bmx which you have to manoeuvre and hold the bars. Having nothing in my hands when i first started blading felt so alien but so free at the same time
I guess blading is going to be back to x games, so Ryan is practicing for it.

Cool kid and great to see someone still keeping the blading alive... i used to be a blader and loved it but i also did skateboarding at same time and now at age 41, my knees are too busted to ride board or blades but i enjoy riding scooters now, it is a lot of fun

Ryan always has been my inspiration for as long as I live he made me start riding at the age of 4
I remember 15-20 years back when the skateboarders would literally gang up on me and my friend if we showed up with inline skates or even a bike.
We had to go at crazy early hours or find other people that rode skates or bikes to all show up at once.
Now kids can ride scooters and they don’t even get picked on at all. You see adults riding them.
I wish it was like that back then. There was really no reason for the immaturity back then. Skateparks are for everyone who doesn’t start fights or purposely get in other peoples way in my opinion.
I have a half pipe and some dirt trails on my property here in Florida still. My neighbor is a sponsored motocross racer and Nitro Circus parks their RVs there when they’re in town(Orlando).

Dylan would've got the hip flip if he would've straightened it out a bit. I think he was tryna throw the side flip like you and it was forcing a weird rotation he wasn't sure how to land.
