Cover over it at first. Then trim it out from the back side. Go a little small though so you have material to wrap over the edges.

Im about to do this with my lancer and get faux leather wrapped... was wondering if you added any insulation to the roof?

We did not, just layed the cloth over the existing one. Use the 3M headliner adhesive, best one out there and haven't had any saging or detaching issues

How did you physically get the liner out of the car !?

Gotta bend/fold it and pull it out the front passenger door

@@TylorPorath should be mostly similar, just some clips around the sunroof. Getting it out might be a little more difficult as I'd imagine there's a metal or plastic rim around the cutout to hold shape
