dedosdigital young people (especially in college) still don't fully understand the issues their country faces. They went to schools, colleges, but these education institutions unfortunately become more and more like a business. They are heavily influenced by the bad rich elites, liberal organizations (disguised as fair, nonprofit organizations) which try to brainwash young people, to make them believe in their " special interest agenda". These groups give funding for these institutions for their agenda which is secretly and skillfully hidden. Not every one gives funding to school for free. A few does, but not the majority. For example George Soros, a radical liberal billionaire who made his fortune by creating financial chaos around the world including the bankruptcy of Bank of England, financial chaos in hongkong, Thailand, & Malaysia, (USA soon if Trump didn't win the election )...he created many nonprofit organizations (moveon.org,...) which funds big educational institutions around the world & in USA to promote his quest to globalization, open-border agenda, (European union is an example, it causes social chaos, terrorist bombing, heavy financial burdens for Greece, France, England, ...). He wants the whole world to become 1 nation and controls it with his financial influence, but he wants to do it secretly so no one will know he is the real puppet master behind the agenda. Trump mentioned during his public debates with Hillary that george soros gave millions of dollars to support the Democratic Party in USA, to Hillary campaign, to all the liberal news networks (CNN, MSNBC,abc...) which report twisted, dishonest , & biased news toward Trump & Bernie sander because just like Obama, Hillary will pass laws to help soros accomplish his agenda. These liberals don't care about the life of ordinary American people. They want open borders so terrorists can disguised as asylums to create chaos, create fears among the people, so the government can control everyone, make people more dependent on government , destroy their freedom..., they want to increase USA debt to weaken the nation, destroy the USA dollars,...they create so many labels which box people and divide them so government can easily control the people. It's the new form of slavery which is color- blind. The bad rich elites will be the slave owners. Ordinary people will become the modern slaves. True Education come from within each person, from the truth, self- education, & logical common senses. Schools nowadays don't teach those no more . They encourage people getting debt to earn useless degrees, learn no real useful, marketable, transferable skills. How can companies hire people with none of those skills ? how can students gain skills and improve their bargaining power ? Students then could find jobs with decent pay and have to work at bars, McDonald's, low paid labor jobs... it's a mess. Liberals, feminists, globalists will destroy true liberty & freedoms. Students need to wake up and think. Don't let liberals use emotions affect your logical & reasonable thinking.
Marine Le Pen is extremely intelligent and much more respectful of others' opinions than the students who applauded in this room. She has the support of many French people and while she is certainly not right on every topic, she stands by her own positions.

These questions are so tiresome. This woman is obviously so well-educated about history, understands the ideas that have lifted up billions of people-- more people, who are longer lived, than any other on the planet at any other time. They are so, so fixated on what this woman's father said once upon a time, and she answered those questions. She even said, "These are tiresome questions. I've answered them before, and here, I'll answer them again-- now can we move past them?" Over and over, these peeps who seem to care more about what they're buying from Urban Outfitters and how they style their hair quite honestly, are like on a loop or something with the same questions. I've never listened to this lady before this speech, and I now wish I had! There is not a single sentence I take offence at or question! Her grasp of the seriousness Europe faces and the impotence shown by the EU's so called leaders is surely unarguable? Her use of Winston Churchill's remarks does her credit as equally denouncing current politicians! I'm not a BNP supporter, perhaps leaning towards UKIP, but the lady's opinions stand aside from left or right and should be applauded!

Marine is not far right. She is liberal on the economy within a democratic law which is defined by the nation. She is opposed to globalism, for localism, and the diversity of nations. She is for fair competition, and for balanced trade. She is for the charter of Havana, instead of the WTO.
She has opposed all recent US or Nato wars in Iraq Syria Libya and Ukraine.
She is against more immigration in France for economic and social reasons; for also the fact that France has done more than was reasonable in the past 40 years, with entire populations who are today living here but without being or wanting to become French.
She is conservative regarding the societal issues, for civil unions for any adult couple, mariage=1w1m. For abortion right within limits. For death penalty.
Democrats in the US are like Republicans they foster the interests of US corp. all over the world with global "trade". They are only a little less taken by the military and oil interests.

However, France's condition regarding immigration and the balkanization of communities it has caused is most critical, and if the French people want to preserve their nation, with or without their entitlements, they must understand that they cannot afford both fantasies.
If France (and Frenchness, for that matter) is to have any future, only Le Penn is capable of performing that triage. In a life or death situation, one cannot afford to be too picky, the perfect being the enemy of the good.

when it comes to "entitlements" minimum wage, social programs, welfare universal healthcare basic education that doesn't require debt or wealth to buy in and get ya foot in the door...well I'd point to history and try to persuade people that without these things you might very well end up with a civilisation of massive imbalances and social unrest...
China, russia and france before the revolution were all "capitalist" countries and the tiny upheaval that happened was not because of politics, ideology or principle but because you had a small indifferent minority who possessed all the wealth and resources and they were out numbered by a very angry majority...when the apple cart got turned over we ended up with emperor napoleon and two communist states...hell even ancient rome and egypt had a ration of grain for it's citizens...because they understood just how dangerous an angry a pissed off mob of plebs can be and how fragile their society truly was.
For another good example of unchecked capitalism from history...I'd point to the english empire during the industrial revolution, oh yes it was very good for the elite and business, the nations power and influence as a whole but not so great for the average individual citizen, their rights and standard of living.
I could also point to the south at the hight of slavery in america...but I don't think I really need to.
A free country that values its citizens rights and lives ultimately cannot compete with a country that isn't free and doesn't care.

In short their needs to be rules that balance the game...and at least some social accommodations made for those that have the least but are the many or you risk disaster.
Why can't we have a clear-spoken, competent, thoughtful, firm but compassionate leader in the USA? I know that 30 years of hyper-liberalized education has left us generally incapable of logic and with no attention span to consider these issues thoroughly - but wow - where is our Le Pen?
It might have something to do with your electoral system. Most systems in Europe allow multiple parties with 'proportional representation'. The US is pretty much set up for two parties to share power. It's the same here in Australia. I believe the two party system is outdated.
Also keep in mind, despite the brilliance of Le Pen, unfortunately my understanding is she remains quite unpopular among the majority. However she has a strong core following. But I don't think this is enough to get her the presidency.

I also don't have a deep understanding of Euro politics but it may be an explanation why US doesn't have a Marine Le Pen. The Netherlands has Geert Wilders, Sweden the Sweden democrats, the Germans have Alternative for Germany. These parties don't sell themselves out and consequently are 'sidelined' by the major parties. BUT at least they get a platform and enough people vote for them to make it worth their while.
At the end of the day there is a requirement for compromise. I guess it may be a little bit like what Bernie is doing to the Democratic Party. He has forced Hillary to change her position a little. But the US system is winner takes all so he will have little sway once eliminated from the race.
I don't claim to know these things for sure, but it is just the way I see it.

I agree with you that the basis of her party is an obstacle.
But on the other hand I think you underrate a lot of aspects. Like the growing lack of trust in LR and PS because of the 2 last presidents, the fact she's (from my POV) a much better speaker than Juppé and could destroy him in a 1v1 debate. And other things I won't enumerate, i'm not her campaign manager.
I do think she can reach 40% in the second round even against Juppé, but I doubt she can beat him...even if I wouldn't bet a lot on her defeat

Well, i live in Switzerland for more than 10 years now and we live much like the way Mme Le Pen describes her views for France.
Example:
-Independent Central Bank,
-no laws from "outside" are imposed internaly,
-Borders are always under surveillance,
-Refuges must wait the results for the demands before being allowed inside the territory,
-Foreigners need ro proove the have the meanings to live here, or have a work contract with your future boss before your arrival,
Foreigners pay more taxes than locals,
Etc, etc, etc....

In the UK we learn some French, German or Spanish from primary school, but schools also offer GCSE in German, Spanish, sometimes Italian, or occasionally Russian or Mandarin. Some schools will also offer Latin and Classical Greek. Others modern Greek, Arabic, Gujurati, Bengali, Japanese, Hebrew, Panjabi, Polish, Turkish and Urdu. French still gets priority at more junior levels than other languages.

Few people are aware of the Havana Charter (1948) which Marine is referring to and which was signed by all countries, except the US, who finally imposed their WTO. WTO imposed onto all the people behind their backs without any vote ever done. With all the problems of mass immigration, unfair competition, and unbalanced trade, and social economic and ecological disasters most of us in the west or abroad (say China) are living in now.

I'm still suspicious of this lady and her party but must admit that if she is being honest here, and allowing for differences in French and British perspectives on the optimum balance between collective and individual liberty, many of her remarks make far more sense than do the bien pensant affectations of her (inevitably given the venue) somewhat jejune questioners.
