Thank you so much, Boucrate. I am really into filming bugs lately. They are incredible to me. I showed this video to my aunt, and she told me that after seeing it, she could not consider humans to be the higher animal. I think they are so alien, and watching their movements is amazing.
Thanks, buddy! I made this specifically as a video response to the video you made at the conservatory. I'll send it over right now. It was nice seeing you this weekend. K80Blog and her crew were the awesomest. One of the best weekends in recent memory.
Those were some amazing close ups! I especially enjoyed watching the bird bath...to even see the splashing...what fun:) I don't know how I got so lucky to have subscribed to your videos...but I sure am glad I did!
Your focus fading gives me happy chills! The color bleeds into my eyes! I just adore this and the movement is pleasing and poetic! A very fine piece of art AVDJ! love it love it , wooo love it
Thank you, Pappy. I sure appreciate that you come around to watch my videos. I have to take a break from youtube for a while, to tend to some real life things. but i will be back in a few months, and occasionally checking in to see what folks are up to.
Wow - this may be my favorite video that you have made. The flow of images is perfectly constructed. You see things with the eye of a designer, every image has a definitive composition. That's one of the things I love about about your work, I know exactly what I am supposed to be looking at and it's interesting in both content and form. You really brought me into the world of ants, bees, leaves and creepy crawly critters. I love the opening and closing with the water. Beautiful images. :)
This was especially awesome. You know, you have a 'look' to your videos that is instantly identifiable & cool (it's not the Canon camera, it's the movement and focus and attention). I feel like this video is the tip of the iceberg of the incredible things you'll continue to do. 5 stars :-)
thanks, man. FantasticBabblings informed me of the location of the Central Park Conservatory. Before seeing his video about it, I had no idea it existed. It is a really nice place.
thank you. (and thank you for also checking out the super mouse stuff.) The focus change stuff is something I have been experimenting with. I have some new ideas for the next videos but those have more to do with camera movement. maybe they will work, but I haven't tested them yet.
From her tweets it sounds like she had a great time in NYC - and sounds like you two got along famously. Sometime soon when I am less exhausted, let's get together with maybe some other local tubers and have a beer or two or three.
ha ha. you are right, jazzylemon, but pappy is referring to a video that he made a few years ago, where he stumbled upon my channel. That was how he originally said my name, while talking about my EYE-CON-TEST video. thanks for watching, bro.
there was this really beautiful girl in high school with me; her name was Michelle. I was always jealous of her because she was so pretty and popular, until one day when I saw her burning ants with a magnifying glass. After that I wasn't jealous of her anymore; I was glad to be the non-ant-killer I am...awkward looking and all ;-)
1:24: hey, That's mine!Give it back! 2:47: Let me clean off a place for ya! 3:53: OK, I'm clean, now! 4:29: that kinda looked dirty! LOL! Much love to ya, sugar! *hugs*

I couldn't agree more, lack of compassion and cruelty are total turn offs.

Thank you. I have a Canon ZR850. Not a pro cam, but handy. If you use manual focus, you can get some really cool results.
Thanks so much! I think the tripod helps. I could never do any of this stuff hand held.
