there is a place called Wattle Point Retreat
You can literally camp out with the kangaroos! I've stayed there and had so much fun! I though of this when you mentioned it :)
#Handmadebykiri if i'm every going bush around that side of Melbourne I might try and camp there. I live around blackwood and the wombat state park close to around Gordon and Bacchus marsh out near Ballarat way while the wombat and black wood state parks have good camping sight the animals there aren't really trusting of humans so they come out after you have gotten in your swag for the night.

Wattle Point Retreat is in Seaspray just past South Gippsland, the kangaroos are so used to humans they literally wait for you to wake up so you can feed them and give them cuddles, it was by far the best kangaroo experience!!! I hope you go there one day :)
#Handmadebykiri when I was camping around Tassie a few years ago there were a few campsite that had kangaroos and wallabies that were used to humans although at night possums tried to get into our rubbish bag so people obviously fed them.

This is a once in a lifetime experience but it's something I have actually done, I remember in grade 4 my dad took me to some moving zoo or something and I got to handfeed kangaroos, they are so cute and fuzzy and they just lick your hands after you feed them

Reminds me of when I went to a kangaroo farm two years ago with my family :) there was some albino kangaroos, and the workers let you hold the baby joeys in a blanket. It was an amazing experience.

Just to make this completely clear, Here in Australia we DO NOT ride Kangaroos, and we don't wrestle crocodiles (most of us)
Exactly I live in Australia and the only person that I know that wrestles a crocodile is Steve Irwin, and yeah we do not ride kangaroos because that would just be cruel!!!!!!

I’m an Aussie and I can easily say kangaroos are one of my favourite native animals. They’re adorable, especially when they show up in your backyard haha. But, Coyote, you need to come down south to nsw! There are great rainforests! But if you are looking for a marine episode, you need to obviously go to the Great Barrier Reef but you should go to Jervis Bay as well, which is near Huskisson. I hope you enjoy Australia while you’re here!

I can't go through any of these videos without going, "awwww!" at least a hundred times (for the cuteness of the animals, I mean, although Coyote and Mark are cute in their own rights too)
Fun fact. When kangaroos get angry they can actually growl like a dog. I know from experience because one was next to my shed and had a Joey (baby kangaroo). I didn’t realise until it was to late and it chased me for a little bit while growling right behind me. I was so scared because I had thongs on ( Americans call them “flip flops”) so I couldn’t run very fast and there were bindis all over the grass so I couldn’t take them off Hahahaha. Oh btw bindis are like some weird sharp thing in the grass that get stuck to your feet, kinda like thorns. I don’t know if bindis are in other countries or not.

You guys are one of my many inspirations for me own channel around jan-feb were i go into the outback of Australia in search of anything awesome, rare, cute, creepy, deadly or just plain weirded. So pretty much anything i can find. Species i plan to feature will include tiger shark, hammerhead, mulga snake, redback spider, blue ringed octopus, goana, thorny devil, bluebottle, deathadder, bull shark, kangaroo, emu, rock wallabies, dugong, gwarder, stonefish, orb weever, sea turtles, centipede, white tailed spider, huntsman spider, mud crab, sea snake, stingray, shovel nosed shark, whale shark, humpback whale, bottle nosed dolphin and other awesome critters i find along the way. My school has a huge forest/bush area, and a huge feild right next to a grave yard, we regularly go on walks there, and we always see Roos, and little joeys. Sometimes the roo’s graze on the oval, or come up to the classrooms.
