I agree totally.I know all the pain I went through so did my children and I worked very hard to correct it.I gave it all I had to make my children love me , because I felt guilty.I was never raised by my mother didn't know my father,had no support system,I wing it all the way.To this day I'm still hearing about the pass, everyone still living still being blessed and still complaining about the pass.I never let my pass defined me I defined it.If one has a parent still living that's a blessing.My mother is no longer living,but I took care of her in her sick days,with two children and I was very young.Because just as I was a victim so was she.

Being a parent is one the hardest it comes with no Instructions.We all fall short.We all just winging it and do the best we can to make them productive people in life and not a menace in life.After a certain age,one is accountable for their own life,you saw what didn't work is a lot of knowledge to make it work.The pass is just what it is,but the future is even better

I won't lie some of my children are seeing doctors, because they had to witness me getting beat on,and they were to young to do anything,same thing I went through with my mother,sitting there crying and couldn't help her the few times I was with her.Children never forget those times.As old as I am I can still remember my mother getting her hair cut off by someone.I can't remember a lot of things today,but that's always there.And to all that were young and lost their parents so young,that's a double hurt.Prayers,love and blessings .Love will always win over hate.

Sounds to me like you did your very best and the circumstances that were given at the time we have all been there we know how it is. What is the Bible say he who cast the first stone that’s the truth you know. Things happen in life and I knew exactly what you meant when you said be very careful. You tell things to it when you least expect and it’s gonna get thrown in your face and believe me I’ve been through that with the family member and it was not easy. I hope things work out with you and your family I truly do and at the end of the day your mother and they love you. Like you said, we're human, and humans always make mistakes. My mother is deceased, miss her dearly. She was my rock. We are similar in that we have no one really to share with, support us, or turn to. I, too, am going through it with my Dad. He's my only living parent. At this moment we are estranged. I myself had to just let go and let God handle it. I decided to stop crying, worrying, begging for him to recognize me.. I love my Dad, always will. I have only one life, and I am determined to live it to the fullest. The devil is always active. But this too shall pass. Be blessed!
