Truly a testament of how underwhelming Wario can be. Especially if you can't give up on trying to win big , you have to accept to win as little as you can get to not get completely reversed every time.
Gluto's patience and punish game was insane this set, he would wait for Spargo to whiff or hit an unsafe move and punish with 50%+ or a kill each time. Really made the most of all the opportunities he was finding

He is the king of adaptation, thats why he beat Miya and took Acola and Sonix to game 5 no matter gow hard the MU is.
Wario is a whiff punisher out of spite. He lacks a tiny bit of speed and range to be a fully fledged one. So ultimately his whiff punish is more about the player than the character ( meaning he has no easy and consistent " oh ! You missed I punish" button)
I'm a huge Gluto fan, but even if he wins two more majors this season and this tourney he's not top 3. He's crack but simply doesn't have the results to be top 10 this season

Unrelated but it’s crazy that neither of these characters have kill throws (rightly so) but min min and Steve do
Wario's Chomp is basically his kill throw.

Chomp and back throw are kill throws. There isn't a single tether grab character that doesn't have a kill throw, hence Min Min and Steve.
