I am glad your healing is progressing and I can't wait to see your next batch of finishes! You cost me a few dollars on this one because I hopped on and ordered some 16 count wren. Ha! Had to have surgery a plate screws all the things. Hope that your ankle heals very quickly. Thank you again for taking the time to do this video.

Another great flosstube! You've accomplished a lot of stitching. I agree with you about lugana. It is a much slower stitch. You will enjoy your finish on lugana when it's done.

Don’t think my rug, or quilt will get done this year. Life is what happens when your plans don’t work out…..God has humbled me for sure and definitely made me stop and enjoy life. Allways love watching you. Iam an aida stitcher also. I love the sewimg project book and have stitched the hollyhocks and the pear and made them into pillows. Have a lot of the same projects as you. Does your sister have a chanel. If she lives near you it would be lovely to have her on one day to show what she is working on or previous finishes. When are you able to move around again. It is fantastic you are able to get so much stitchimg done though. Speedy recovery. 🇦🇺🦘💐

New follower here….I’m thinking we have even more in common, I love navy and have two navy Stitchy chairs. I also do monochromatic blue stitches instead of red samplers. I’m doing a huge one right now. You also have a blue leather case right there.
@@pattyshadle8749 ok so with Aida everything is over one. Over two on linen is the same as over one on Aida. So one strand is what I normally use for sure if I am on 18 or 20 count aida. Does this help?
Hi Sarah!, Do you stitch your Winds of Autumn pieces 1 over 2 or 2 over 2? I am stitching Mighty Acorn 2 over 2 on 36 count but have been second guessing myself. Not sure if this is a choice you make when stitching on Aida.
@@courtneyodau so when stitching aida you don’t do over one or over two like you do on linen. It’s just all over one. So over one on aida is the same as over two on linen. As far as strands go I always use 1 strand on 18 count and so that is the same as 36 on linen. I find it more enjoyable to stitch with one strand but I know other people who use two on 36 or 18. I think it’s just how comfortable you are with the coverage. I like the look of the coverage on one strand and i also like the feeling of using 1 thread instead if 2.
