@@robcurios740 Being fit at training and being ready for a CL final are also two different things. Courtois has been back for a very short time, I don't think he is ready to play literally the most important game of the season. You also have to think about the group, how other players will perceive it if they see you can deliver and bring your team to a CL final and then get the final taken away from you. Yes, for a guy who is better on paper, but who just came back from injury and has to prove he is back at his best level to perform in important games.
This could also have disastrous consequences on Lunin's spirit and his future performances with Real Madrid (he could lose confidence or also he could leave out of resentment), so you could lose a very good keeper - who is the future of the club as Courtois is aging - with no guarantee that Courtois can perform at his expected level.
Lots of things to ponder and I don't know what's happening in training but I think going with Lunin would not only be the fair decision but also a better sport decision for the coach, the team and ultimately the club.

To be honest, if you ask whether the relegation system helps profits and popularity, 99% of people would say
Rather, the owner does not invest more in the team for fear of being relegated. There is a risk. And relegation is unfavorable as it hurts the club's value and popularity. Also, the teams that are going to be relegated anyway have no motivation and nointention of winning. Defeat on purpose (e.g. Sheffield u)

One trick pony madrid completely unchallenged in that league which allows them to prioritize the UCL year in year out. No pressure to win the farmers league allows you to rest, rotate and prioritize the UCL. It's pathetic, sad and boring. Nobody watches that league. Madrid doesn't develop their players into the first team. They don't grow football globally. They don't even try to address the mass racism within their own league. Their plastic fan base comes from third world countries who can't even afford to buy a jersey from their website. . The Madrid fans are so delusion they simply cannot the big picture of their failures b/c all they can see "14UCL" as if that's the measurement of success.
