I agree! I lived in Oahu for 8 years ~ moved there in '91 and learned to body board then in 2005 went to Tahiti for 3 weeks and experienced Teaupoo and surfed when it was 6 ft + and that current is insane. I have so much respect for those whom surf when massive! My absolute favorite channel to get lost into feeling what surfing is like. This is my favorite wave 🌊 in the world by far! 🌈🌴
That has to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Such clear, beautiful water. Thanks for sharing for those of us who will never get to see it first hand. God Blessed you so much.
@@troythomastaylor i know it makes me feel like I could surf there on a day like the no problem but Im sure id get lipped in the head or something if I tried.
NF- these RAW footage vids show the work expended - paddle out , the lineup aloha - the ride without drones , fancy edits , music - it’s YOUR experience . How beautiful in all respects - a dude - like NOBODY is there ! It’s the ANTIPIPELINE - keep us amazed with your life . ! You can monetize it by making a surf school ‘location edit on this and discuss technique on your ONLYFANS (or whatever LOL)
I can feel the burn in my shoulders after being out for a long while and the rush of the wave picking me up and dropping in. Thank you Nathan for bringing the stoke onto dry land!
Primo clear water ! Your video was also nice and clear too. Hey thanks for this new channel how you are going to target beginner/ intermediate surfers. I started surfing 7 months ago at 41, and watched one of your older surf fitness/ paddling videos that helped me out heaps! Just subscribed, hello from New Zealand. Thanks Bro!
Winter is here. It looks like nice warm up conditions then Halloween sets off the proper winter. I can’t wait!!! Seeing Mavs blown out at 35 gets me hyped. Your gonna own this winter Nate! I’m calling it now. W.O.W plus owning jaws. Go get it 🤙
Sooo beautiful 😍 thank you for catching those dangerous hollow beauties for us, Nate. The look on your face on the boat to the reef, shaking your hair in the wind, reminded me of an excited puppy with its head out of a car window! Your love is pure and it pours from the screen. I won't ever have the skill or the gumption to ride this wave, so I'm deeply grateful that you share it with us 🙏 😌 👏🙌✨️🤙
What a beautiful day and glassy conditions, that water is crystal clear. I would love to see the reef at Teahupoo, maybe next time your there and its small give us a 1st person view of the reef. Love your vids mate and a big hello from Australia's west coast. Come back soon 🇦🇺
It's always in the back of my mind. You're out taking some nice glassy surf in a epic spot. Everything is perfect and then , suddenly without warning you look outsidand here it comes , a Rouge Wave 30 + ft. Njet skies and no escape . It breaks on you , your held down , finally you come up and there is 5 more rolling in and you get tore up.
One time i was just at the beach chilling in the waters when a giant rogue wave comes to me, and then it just breaks on me, also when the rogue wave was about to break in me there was like 7 or 10+ people just looking at me then i turned back and that was when the rogue wave break on me.
On behalf of us old disabled surfers ........thanks for reminding us what it means to live ! You can't get any more alive than pulling into barrels over a foot deep razor sharp reef !
I must give a shot out 2 go pro because I sure never would of seen the inside of a giant scary barrel at teaphoo or seen the inside of a massive barrel at jaws thanks go pro and thanks “NATE” for having the ability to let me see what I would never in my life of seen, much Respect
it just seems like endless waves one after the other…is it always like this? i will be going to tahiti in Mid november thru mid december is this a good time to go?
Remember in final 80's,early 90's, the Great Tom Carrol, starting using a kind of "helmet", specially surfing Pipeline. When i see wipeouts, in a super shallow reef like this, i give all the Credit to Tom Carrol. Protect yourself, at anytime.

This is what I think of when I think of the perfect wave. Clear glassy water, hollow, mountains in the back. Perfection
And only a few other friends who take turns like they should. 🤙🏻
Though if you go down here, it’s bad… fire corral, it can kill you even after you leave the water.
The perfect wave is the one bodie died to in point break

It would be cool to have someone underwater filming your Wipeout to see you doing flips underwater. What beautiful clear water and perfect wave
This water is amazing 🤤😍
Bad idea because of the reef just beneath the waves
Nathan, you inspire me man. Im a surfer in Wales. I wanna rip like you. my guy love the videos

Amazing how this break is surfed when huge, and they survive the reef after wiping out.
That’s why a lot of people wear helmets there.
I never catch your videos this early. That's what happens when it's flat in Kona. Yeah, it's pretty shallow.
I used to have a saying for a magical day, I'd say it's a post card day,but bra you get da post card life mad respect 🙏

that shoreline is just as beautiful as the water!
This morning during my meditation i asked the universe whether i should save for mountain life or tropical life, this gave me my answer. Shaka bro❤️
The water is so clear you can see just how close the reef is to the surface thats insane

The sharpies below looks crazy
It looks super fun when it’s small 🤙🏻, and not death bombs😳
That inside ledge breaks on two feet of water. Ain't nothing easy about Cheaups
A trip to teahupoo is going to my bucket list
That water is so clear it looks like you are hovering over the reef. Wicked video brother.
0:48 when I take my dog out on a car ride

Love the povs on the slabs
Rad video man. How close are you to the reef when you bail?
The GoPro makes it so manageable but I know that is an insane challenge
This is great. Still I get sea sick when I watch this footage after lunch. Its funny cause I never got seasick while surfing.
You live a very blessed life! This is amazing!
Waiting on my Whoop thanks to your suggestion!! North shore and Maui in April of 2022 babyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!

Gorgeous water. Like volcanic glass.
Beautifull ! Only wish I could get one out there. Living vicariously through you bro.

Sick footage.
That reef looks so gnarly, perfect wave until you fall and need to be wearing body armor to surface unscathed.
So sick Nate
Awesome!
Love the raw footage

1st come, 1st serve? Or is there an order for wave priority?
Incredible to watch
Is Teahupo'o more difficult to surf than pipe?
It can be more intimidating but pipe is a more challenging barrel
What’s the water temp there? Also, do surfers open their eyes when they duck dive?
Looks so clean.. seen other videos. What's the gear and shot
Love the Ocean sounds with POV, Awesome . What Pyzel is that? No ghost label that I saw
Its a Next Step 6’2 Epoxy
@@NathanFlorence looked plenty thick (maybe bc wide angle lens of GoPro)... what's the displacement on this board
That water is absolutely crystal clear beautiful
He uncovered the board showed it then covered it back up...like a mom showing a new baby hahaha
WOW this ocean is so freaking gorge!!!!
This day was magic
Water looks fresh and drinkable haha 👍🏼 Is this Hawaii?
H4 are the shit. Best fins I’ve ever surfed
How deep is that reef? Do surfers hit the bottom/reef often?
What a beautiful place...
That will definitely get your attention. Salute
Holy crap the entire sequence at 5:24 made my asscheeks hold tight to my seat... You're sick!!
Thanks for sharing this footage
