Appreciate you giving me credit for pointing it out, AIR photography gets the real credit for figuring it out - it is an ugly solution but at least we can keep it in FCC mode until they do the firmware update - which I'm hoping is coming soon.
that is automatic depends on where you are if you are in a CE country when you turn on your drone for the first time your drone is in fcc but you get a message that says Detected another area if you press ok it changes to CE if you hit cancel it remains in fcc. Even if you are in a CE country, but people don't know, they press ok. if you are in a CE country and want to put it in FCC download a vpn put a location in North America or South America when you turn on your drone it changes to fcc remember after you do it and it changes to fcc and when you get the message do not accept treat it several times. luck

Put the rc on the drone outside, it does not work inside. I ordered the mini 3. But thinking about changing it to the air 2 s. To many issues with the mini 3. It’s gonna be my first drone. But if you do the fix outside it does work. Can’t connect to gps inside
At the end of the day it is the exact same drone, you just fly it in a ce zone, why would they make it cheaper ? So that you can buy it and resell it at higher prices in fcc regions ?? If they did so , DJI won’t be able to sell drone in fcc zones There are free apps which put the drone in fcc mode regardless of the zone you fly . Paid app make it permanent
I just got my mini yesterday and oh god how bad the signal is! I’m in Europe so I’m stuck in ce. Would this solution help in Europe too? I flew in a no interference area and got to 2000m with very bad connection problems!
My friend this solution not work for you. I feel sorry for you, at this moment I was explaining to a person that the dji drone comes from the factory in the fcc and when you turn it on in europe you get a notification saying that it detects another area you have to click cancel so that it stays in fcc. if you accept it, it goes into ce mode
Gosh.. Mini 3 pro with this poor range? Wonder why ocusync 2 is better than ocusync 3? I myself in CE country having mini 1 can reach up to 2100 meters and still pushable with 5.8ghz in city..

From the video, I could not make out the differences between the modes. Can you please expand on exactly how to exactly tell which mode it is in? Thank you.
if you see the first line on one side there is the number 90 and on the other side it is at 1km which means that it is in ce mode and if the line is below 1km then it is fcc. If you need more help let me know. It's super easy
if you watch the video again at exactly 50 seconds look at the line that is ce mode because it is straight at 1km. then watch the video 10:55 you will see how the line that is at 1km moves a little below 1km that's fcc

Pero por ejemplo, si lo compro en España (cuando este a la venta) puedo correr el riesgo de comprar un equipo con modo ce (menor rango)? Mi hermano el drone viene en modo fcc de fabrica no importa donde lo compres. Despues cuando lo enciendes si estas en America el drone se queda en fcc y si lo enciendes en europa por primera vez te sale un mensaje diciendote que el drone detecto otras regulaciones si aseptas el mensaje el drone se pone en Modo CE. Muchas personas cometen el error y aceptan el mensaje sin saver lo que es y si le apretaban a cancelar su drone sevles uvise quedado en fcc

Estoy muy conforme con el Mini 2 (la semana que viene se cumplen 3 meses desde que lo tengo, antes tenia un MiniSE), dado que ya has usado bastante el Mini 2, concluyes que debo aprovechar esta oportunidad y traer el Mini 3 Pro o mejor sigo esperando y continuo con el Mini 2? @@gtmanu waoooo. Mi hermano. Es una pregunta fuerte la verdad. Depende para que quieres el mini3. Porque en la camara te digo. Que es basicamente es lo mismo lo unico que la camara se vira y yo nunca uso eso... si. Tu lo vas a usar pues es un punto a favor el active track para que te siga. Es otra cos que yo no uso amenos que tu quieras grabar volando bien bajito y hay muchos arboles pues te sirve pero de lo contrario no se usa ahora. La bateria plus del mini 3. Si es un gran avanse y su quieres como yo volar lejos y grabar pues te lo recomiendo aunque ahora mismo el mini 3 esta teniendo muchos problemas yo. Te recomiendo esperar un poco mas aver si lo arreglan bien pero la ultima palabra la tienes tu piensalo ponlo en una balansa meditalo hablalo con la almuada y tomas la decicion
@@xenonsky Si, es que es una respuesta dificil, y mas aun cuando hay un gasto grande de por medio. De todas maneras y pensandolo un poco mas a fondo, si ambos tenemos dudas en si es una compra segura, entonces no es un compra segura jeje. Eso habla muy bien del Mini 2, sin dudas, de su gran poderio a un precio muy razonable, de su excelente desempeño a 2 años de haber salido al mercado. Gracias por tu tiempo y es probable que lo medite mas (en verdad hasta el dia de hoy mi idea es esperar, si mi familiar no viajara, en ningun caso pensaria en comprarlo), saludos!

If you do not update and something happens to your Drone, and you try to get DJI to give you a new one, they will look at your firmware and say that it is your fault you should have updated, so update your Drone's firmware, even it it un-improves the Drone's quality, because otherwise you might loose it due to a stupid mistake. Here on Europe we pay for a broken drone full price
