They use a lot of (b-flat) clarinet and (bass) clarinet in all of these episodes and do a really good job of it. I enjoy this since I was a clarinet player once. You don’t get a lot of individual instrumentations in many modern day stuff, only a lot of electronic “music” if even. I go to bed with the Combat theme song in my head and I wake up with it. I guess I’ve been watching too many of these shows. Finished all of season 1, 2, & 3, now I’m ½ way through 4 and nee to see s. 5 yet.
Yes, I (Bb clarinet & Eb soprano clarinet player) also enjoy the instrumentation. The music composed for the show was recorded by real musicians on real instruments - excellent stuff!
spacepatrolman - you seem to like to point out bloopers and funny things. Did you notice that at 9:19 the Germen didn’t have a bandage on his head but at 10:16 his head is all wrapped up and bandaged?
The music is not over powering and helps the suspense build up.Thanks for all the time and effort you spent uploading these episodes.
The old monk was once in an episode of Star Trek.

Seen these old reruns just before I left for the service, still fun to watch

Big blooper with the head bandage.
Yeah, I noticed the same thing. Thought it was kind of odd that someone (director or writer) all of a sudden thought he needed a bandage.
What is weird about this episode is nether John Agar nor Jeremy Slate get guest star billing
wildcat052655 - Thanks, I’ll have to go back and check that out. Any little blooper is a LOL moment.
1:01 the actor with pretty face always acts as a German whom I saw frequently.
