Would be fantastic is tashi would win. Prove that the modeling industry isn't extremely thin girls that most women aren't. That agent calling her a big girl was well outa line she is far from a big girl. Maybe she should have gone into glamour were her beautiful curves would be appreciated

I think yr wrong I think she had a photographic face beautiful in fact but no matter what you say clothes in high fashion don't look right they don't hang right and they do not photograph well on big girls they just don't sorry I used to work in fashion and its just one of those things
So far I've seen nothing from Edwina that makes me like her, personality-wise.
Someone like Tashi would be far more successful today. Since post 2015, the fashion industry has become much more inclusive and accepting of different looks, different body sizes. The definition of a top model has loosened today than the rigid standards of the past. The bodyshaming was really cruel back in those early cycles of top model. Especially that guest judge calling her a "drag queen".
If this cycle came out in 2024, i could definitely see tashi being booking jobs as a comercial or plus size model, since the industry today prefers unconventional looks. If not that, she'd have probably be very successful in social media influencer career or a media career. Her personality is just vivacious, fun and lightens up the room. Too bad her look and body type was not appreciated back then.
I don't understand the girls' tops, way too casual for Paris, Milan, the castings. Watch the way the ladies dress in top style Peru's next top model.

Actually it's really good compared to the other copy of cycle 1 on YT. The quality of that one was so bad that I couldn't watch more than a couple of episodes.
If they had used a different head on photo of Stephanie, she would have been going to Milan instead of Tashi.
