Unfortunately in prison, especially California that's how it is. Either you join and help or get gotten after. You pick.👀, stay free lil fools the streets don't love no one.
Check out the movie Come and See (Soviet film), or Black Sun: The Nanking Massacre. Both are Horrifying especially when you realize that what you are seeing actually happened to people
If your just a typical normal dude who just wants to complete his sentence but prison life forces you to join an gang in order to survive than the system of justice really failed this country.
The fact is we all started out as someone's little angel and this place forces us to become warriors or victims. Nothing in between can exist here and you've chosen to be a warrior. Now it's up to you to remain one.
Great movie….. but not in a living fuck would he ever be even considered for the Brand that quick… “They’re real selective about who they call their brother”.

That 80% ain’t no joke. Real life ish !!! Prison ain’t no joke !!! Jail ain’t no joke, shit, county in a city can get goofy real quick. 42 men and 32 beds. 6 rolls of tp and only 2 trays on Sunday!!!
He would be dumb to admit or confess that he was. They would have likely validated him. Sad how he initially joined for protection but got pulled in so deep.
This movie is flawed - the protagonist sacrifices his freedom and becomes a violent gang member as a way to protect his family on the outside. If he really wanted them out of harm’s way, he should have offed himself. Then the gang would have no interest in his family.
Nah cus the beast said if he fucks the deal up in any way his boy and his wife were gonna get killed. It’s not all about punishment or even revenge as much as it is about being feared for the beast. Money would’ve offed himself and the beast would’ve killed them to show everybody else what happens when you don’t play by his rules.
THIS MOVIE IS ONE OF THE RULING THEMES OF MY WHOLE EXISTENCE OVER WHAT FEELS LIKE AN ETERNITY sadly smart people would have picked a fight with the most dangerous FOOL INSIDE AND THEN DEMANDED ALL TO LEAVE THEM ENOLA HAHA
