Great job, Anthony! I've been using a track saw now for my last few projects and am loving it. No more muscling 4x8 sheets of 3/4" material against the rip fence! I made a small jig so that I can simply cut measured waste side narrow strips when needed. I still have my table saw for small milling tasks. Thanks for all your videos!
Since moving to the festool system, my table saw is literally just for the last cut before assembly. I do the same process as you and once 3 sides are 90 degrees to each other, I run the piece through the table saw to finish that up. I downgraded to a laguna fusion since I don't really need much power to do that. I will say, I would recommend the uk benchdog fence over the MFT factory fence and the dashboard hinge is far superior. Other than that, we're using very similar workflows. Great video. That accent makes this work it. It sort of reminds me of a tougher Norm. LOL
Always a well explained project. Looking really nice.
Great work.
Nice tutorial!
I hope that’s not the final height for the A/V equipment. From the floor up to 20” is basically a constant cloud of fine dust, especially in a room with carpet and with air or people movement. The A/V equipment will be coated and packed with dust in a few months that low.
This is going in the client’s basement bar/movie theater that I built. Porcelain tile floors and only occupied for the occasional party. I’m pretty sure it will be fine since Over the years I’ve never seen media cabinets much more than 1-2 inches higher than this. Total height was just over 22”. You gotta give ‘em what they want.
@@AnthonyScolaro1 I hear you, sound like success, understood. Nice job, looks great!
