This video doesn't even mention how the Southern Resident pods often travel to Monterey Bay, CA for its rich feeding grounds. The whales are not confined to Puget Sound.

We keep hearing about different animals 'on the verge of extinction' and guess what, IT'S ALL DOWN TO HUMANS. This lovely creature can not be allowed to disappear. If there were anything -in a small way- that I can do , I will.

SeaWorld was the MAIN reason these dolphins suffered such a devastating population crash😮

First thing that needs to happen is to restore river systems salmon use by removing dams. Second thing is to address all the agriculture and industrial run-off and shipping lanes.

I have seen nurse sharks on multiple dives in Cozumel. I'll admit the first time I saw one, even though I knew nurse sharks aren't aggressive, I had a surge of adrenalin. Depth wise, I've seen them from probably 50-80 feet. Sometimes, they're napping on the sand, or in a coral formation, other times I've seen them swimming along. Also please Visit this site www.deepdivescuba.com it’s very helpful.

Its disappointing that NOAA doesnt help the SRKW's more than they do. BREACH THE DAMS. This is what they should have been concentrating on last year. Its not a mystery why they are dying. Please step up to the plate and help them.

Why can't we clean the water? Chernobyl scientist discovered that sunflowers help absorb the nuclear waste even in the water. There must be a solution for our ocean waters.

I cant believe that barges of rubbish are dragged through the ocean and tour boats are allowed that close to marine mammals. Whoever thought this was a great idea needs to check themselves.

I Canada, didn't allow Indians (sorry First Nations), to gill-net at the mouth of rivers there would be plenty of salmon.

commercial fishing has done far more to destabilize the ecosystem of the puget sound than the much more sustainable fishing practices that people native to the puget sound region have been doing for thousands of years, what are you smoking?

@@tektitestomp240p8 Then it would be US fishing. Years ago the Canadian Government addressed this, and trust me, I'm no fan of the Canadian Government. They decided to stop issuing new commercial licenses. You could transfer a license to a boat of similar size, but when the boat lost it's useful life, the license was gone. As a result the sports fishing industry took off. I have a place on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. I've been fishing there since five years of age. I'm now 60. I know the Island well.
