The conversation with Sedaris was one of the warmest conversations I´ve seen in this show. In every question, as ridiculous as it may have been, he answered with an honest and thoughtful topic. And that is precisely why I think the show works great with the guests: the seeming insignificance of the conversations seems to bring down people´s guards allowing them to communicate with much more honesty and carelessness than usual interviews allow.
I've read one of his books and I'm pretty sure he and Craig partied hard together in the eighties. Their stories match somehow during that period of heavy substance abuse. ☺️ So they might already have that personal bond with eachother... But I understand what you're trying to say, Craig is a master in conversational skills. He knows perfectly how to disarm anyone during a conversation.
@@Snaakie83 You might be right about how they may have partied hearty, but the beauty of it all is how each of them came out of it all, on the other side. They were individually better people and they also had relationship that wasn't defined or dependent on the things of that old lifestyle. That is pretty cool👍😊.
Sometimes, I thought of Craig's show, as a more adult version of the old Soupy Sales Show...and for a so called childrens' show, it could be risque in its own right.
Craig needs to come back to late night. None of them are funny anymore, they're just obvious political shills anymore. Craig would blow them all out of the water.
@@Snaakie83 "Craig would fight Trump every day..." Maybe I might be misunderstanding your comment. Unlike the late night shows and the many so called comics, Craig like Johnny Carson before him, was able to take an even, balanced approach to the small amount of political stuff they took jabs at. Neither man, to my knowledge, never let their personal views or biases, interfere with entertaining their late night audiences. I haven't watched the show in a long time and because of MCD, it would be a little difficult to do so right now. So if there was something in the context of this video you're referring to, my apologies to you. Have a great day.
I like the Imagineers. They’re the only band that actually plays really good. Nowadays, it’s just artificial music with auto tune. This band sounds great! 😸
If you're not a military guy you should salute or do anything related...I've learn that during my mandatory service...I'm not sure how it works in other countries but I think it kind works the same...

RIP Michael Clarke Duncan. Always missed on screen.
It's crazy that he passed so soon after this, he seemed happy and healthy :(
I've had so many good memories watching The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, miss the show a lot
Me too. I love that time. The world seemed so good and funny and young.

Man I wish he could've done a interview with Christoph Waltz, that would've been something.
Can't believe he died a month after they filmed this episode, miss you Big Mike
He was so full of life! Everyone dies when they are meant to die but it still truly feels like MCD was taken from us too soon.
MCD was hilarious over these episodes! What a treat :)
There’s a second verse and a bridge to the theme song! Who knew?!
MCD died a few months after this aired, in september, goddamit.
George Ariton shame
Rest in peace, Michael. You were brilliant..

Miss that crazy robot skeleton 🦴
Careful Icarus
Remember hoping for a Peter Capaldi appearance. Good reason to revive the show and go back!
Duncan looks like the bad guy in resident evil 3
Nice to see Duncan! So glad Craig got him for this.
RIP Michael Clarke Duncan
"We were battling the ghost rider..." Ok that freaked me out
I sure do miss Mr. Duncan. His life mattered to many many people.
The Lumineers, their music has a Beatles-style to it.

The entire show is based off Craig and his guest doing improvosational skits. Lighten up, buddy.
