This whole thing reminds me of a random Scenario i made a AI also helped develop. In a nutshell the desigm was similar to a cloaker but blue colour lenses from Canada. And his whole Shtick was he was really good with the weapons he had, but any other weapon? He may as well be using it to shoot himself.

I remeber the time i had over 50 imprints back when NEM was used and i had custom origins but now a days i can hardly go 2 imprints with the workshop beta before something breaks and ive been using my computer more often because the unofficial NEM port for workshop doesn't work on my steamdeck.

I make sure my hirelings have Acrobatics as their secondary skill so they get more dodging capabilities. Nexus Core has lots of angry men with shotguns. Having 20+ imprints helps too.
@@Jelinator i forget if imprints help your hirlings too, and how do you ensure your hirlings have acrobatics as a secondary skill? or is it tied to their "archtype"
@@thomasedgar8612 Your hirelings get all the bonuses from imprints that you do. Now the only way to find out a hireling's secondary skill is to check what they level up more than the other 2. It'll also be the only skill they level up past tier 1 besides their primary skill. This means they don't get the good TAC-bar unless Acrobatics is their secondary. My go to method for determining a hireling's secondary skill is to get them to (or buy them at) level 3. From my experience, they always seem to buy the first tier of their secondary skill at 3. Their secondary skill is entirely random. So is their skill weakness. And their behaviors too. (Hope you don't get a melee character who's afraid of being in melee range!)
@@thomasedgar8612 That's the problem with randomly generated dudes. Plus they take a while to level up, which I can atleast mod to be 3 times faster. I think it would be much better if the developers: 1. Added the ability to rename hirelings (even if they make label it as changing their nickname) 2. Either allowed the player to pick the hireling's secondary skill or made it visible on the stat screen. 3. Show the hireling's behaviors and favored weapon on the stat screen. 4. Showed the player how close a hireling is to leveling up.
