ALL WATER SLIDES at Wild Island Waterpark in Sparks, NV

Wild Island Waterpark is located in Sparks, Nevada and is the largest water park in the Reno metro area. The park first opened in 1989 and has been consistently getting new additions every few years since then. We visited Wild Island on a Sunday in September and it was surprisingly not too crowded. Despite not having a very large collection of slides, there are still a lot of fun and unique slides to try out, from slower paced family tube slides to high thrill speed slides. Our personal favorite slides included the Red Viper speed slide and the Dragon's Tail body slide. The park also looked quite nice as all of the slides were freshly painted, however it could also benefit from more shaded and grass areas as the entire back of the park is just concrete paths and slides. There is something for everyone here so definitely give Wild Island a go if you are in the Reno area, especially if it's a hot day.

I'm waiting for the day when my kids are old enough to go all in at the slides with me. 😄 This looks like a ton of fun.

Lifeguards never said anything when I went, I guess some allow it and some don’t.
