My 2 favourite YT channels, you guys and Harry's garage, you've got the Fiat 500, Harry has a ferrari v12, normally the other way round, not sure what to watch first 🤔
Ha ha ha! Excellent fun episode. 😄 Also, you guys got round the CV-19 lockdown very skilfully with your creative approach each week, it wasn't that obvious, so hats off to you both! 👍🏻👏🏻
I was out in my 1972 500L earlier. Bought it in 1998 & adore it! It’s a bad idea to open the sunroof when moving though as it can damage it. I’m in the Fiat 500 Club & we’d be pleased to welcome you to the Club events and runs. For instance last May 2019 29 of us drove in convoy on a tour of Norfolk! I did 400 miles, no issues. Club members go deep into Europe too. But for Covid we had planned for about 30 cars would do a trip round Dorset in May 2020. That will happen when we can. My car has a BIS 650cc engine, with a Panda unleaded cylinder head, it has front disc brakes and lowered suspension with Spax dampers supplied by Middle Barton Garage, who race Fiat Abarth’s. Disc brakes are essential! We advice fitting a strap to the front bonnet to prevent it popping open and raising to block the windscreen. You’ll regret not doing this modification when it occurs. I hope to see you at some club events!
The year is 1970. I'd just turned 18. Desperate to get my own set of wheels I went out and bought my first car. A CINQUECENTO... better known as the 500. I was chuffed. Drove it home and then started to detail it. Pulled the floor mats back and what could I see... the road. Rusted through. So i took it back and never got to enjoy the charms of the Fiat bambino. Great buy Jason. You're on a promise for that gift. 😁. Loved the smiles on your faces. And the bap bap of the horn. A true classic. I want one.
Hi Guys great video put a huge smile on my face brings back fond memories i can just picture Jason singing just on corneto whilst presenting the car to his girlfriend lol.
Car Guys, The best car content available by far in my opinion. I want to go out and buy on right away. The delight on both your faces remind me of the video where Damian is doing doughnuts on the lawn in his 355. Great work guy.
I learned the basics of driving in a 500L - on an old airfield. I absolutely loved it. That little car served as family transport for a couple of years - 4 of us, with mum being the smallest . . . at 5 foot 10. yes, we did get some stares as we all unfolded ourselves out of the doors on arriving anywhere.
Best Car Guys episode for a while. Great to see you back together doing what you do best. Well done and congrats on the purchase Jason. She's a little beauty
It’s a shame this kind of video doesn’t generate views. Good purchase Jason. I own a ‘75 127 and I can relate to most of the things said on this video. There is something about 70s cars where you don’t need hp to have a good time.
Great nostalgia, fun and pure “Car Guys” quirkiness. Jason, what a classic the Fiat 500 is. It’s right up there with the original VW Beetle, Mini or a Morri Minor 1000. Only advice about the Fiat Bambino... Beware of pot holes at speeds higher than 30mph, but, I’m sure you and your gf will have loads of fun with this car...
YEEEEESSS gents! Best video on the channel! (so far). "17 of your earth pounds" - brilliant! I'm also looking to purchase one for my 40th in a couple of years time - wife doesn't know......yet. Cheers Chris
Truly wonderful and the condition is amazing. Remember my dad hiring one on holiday in Majorca in tomato red, it was fantastic. Almost as good as the Smart Fortwo I had, proof that cars don’t have to be blisteringly quick to have fun (but it helps!..he added quickly). Giggles per mile every time! 😁
I smiled and laughed al the way through that - great content as ever, chaps. The interior is SO cool - and white wall tyres are ruddy superb - does any modern car come with them as standard? It's time for a revival if not...
Fantastic! I would *love* to see you guys get hold of a Fiat Topolino (the predecessor to the 500), and see how it compares to your 500! The Fiat Topolino was my Dad's first car - it's a dream of mine to get one of those one day!
Cute little car, very common also in Germany. It can turn around on a beer mat. The favourite car of my wife. She used to own the successor, the Fiat 126. We had tons of fun with it. True story: With it we pulled out into slow traffic on day on the Autobahn. In front of us a Porsche 930 turbo. I flashed the headlights of the Fiat 126. And the Porsche pulled over quickly, giving way, the driver tearing up with laughter. What a funny little car!
Topolino little mouse I very nearly bought one in 1971 this could have been the very same car I was only earning £16 pounds a week at the time and my son was only two years old but my wife said No I had the Isetta bubble car before that so it was like a step up thanks for bringing back memories
Prop prop prop cool Couldn’t fit three properly‘s into that small space I love this little beauty and as M Schumacher also drove one you have that to add to its long list of likes . No need for an expensive car cover here boys , a M&S bag for life would do. Loved the review and loved the car 🙏
What a cheeky little car. I got into Italian cars when my Dad replaced his prehistoric Hillman Minx with a Fiat 850 Coupe in the early 70s. To us kids it was like owning a Ferrari. Damien, its your turn next, you have to wheel out the Landrover at some point for us LR fans. Currently looking forward to recieving my 'The Beans' Teeshirt to be delivered, cannot wait!
During watching this video, I had a smile on my face from the beginning till the end! It's amazing how a car like this can make you happier. I have to mention Citroen 2CV as well. Beetle? No, I am not a fan!
Grew up with one of these in the family in the 70s, and they're not very reliable! Very fond memories of looking out the rear window of a green Renault 16 as we towed it home, attached to the front bumper, which promptly detached as we went over a cattle grid. How I laughed! My Dad was less enthused.
I judge a person by the breadth of their car collection - if they have all V12 supercar gubbins it tells me one thing, and if they have some eclectic stuff it means they are rounded and usually not a spanner - 500 is point in case and an amazing peddle. Nice one.
Wonderful. Haven't driven a 500 for years. I once sold a guy at work my girlfriends old 126. Coming back from a pub lunch 4 up, including me, it failed to negotiated a roundabout and he terminally bent it. He couldn't afford another car, so I sold him my pushbike.
There was ONE variant that didn't have a sunroof, which was the First version of the Fiat 500 Sport, I believe they left that in there to stiffen it up a little. (This was when they were still cabriolets) all other 500 variants had the a folding roof or a sunroof.
Love this little car I have one myself. Have you worked out the heater yet😅. Get that fuel filter out of the engine bay and put it by the fuel tank as it is a fire risk
I drive a 2012 Fiat 500. Its a great little car with a 5 speed transmission and it gets 40+ miles to the gallon. not an overwhelmingly powerful car but it gets me where I want to go. And it only has 77409 miles on it.
Love Jason's choice of cars - the talbot and now this beauty.
I love the variety of this channel, TDF one week and Fiat 500 the next. Cool stuff.
My 2 favourite YT channels, you guys and Harry's garage, you've got the Fiat 500, Harry has a ferrari v12, normally the other way round, not sure what to watch first 🤔
You just described my morning dilemma over coffee perfectly
I cant afford a Rolex, but I do own a 2016 Fiat 500 Linea Rossa Edition. Bought it new, only done 800 km's so far. Its still new.
When you going to tell Jason its the replacement for the F40..
😂😂😂😂
Loved the inclusion of archive footage! Great episode👍
10 % informative...90% entertaining. i smiled all the way through this episode. Cheers!
Ha ha ha! Excellent fun episode. 😄 Also, you guys got round the CV-19 lockdown very skilfully with your creative approach each week, it wasn't that obvious, so hats off to you both! 👍🏻👏🏻

“Inside is fairly basic...” - understatement of the year!
Love the enthusiasm of you gentlemen! Look forward to next week!
Much appreciated!
Love this. Might be my favorite video from you guys as there's just so much fun in this little car! See you next week!

Great video guys. Love the variety on this channel. Keep it coming!
Great video. Honest content as always. Love it
I love the 500. I really want one, for the simplicity and ease of maintenance. They have increased in price rapidly over the years.
Really enjoyed the video, chaps; great little car and what a great present for Jason’s missus! Nice one
Hi Guys great video put a huge smile on my face brings back fond memories i can just picture Jason singing just on corneto whilst presenting the car to his girlfriend lol.

What a fantastic present. Perfect colour scheme.
so much better than a supercar, please more of these types of cars on your channel
“How does it handle?”
“Ah....”
🤣🤣🤣
That is Fantastico.....had a smile on my face from start to finish. Jason's lady is a very lucky lady...Cheers guys
Fantastic! This is car enthusiasm personified. 😄
The past few years I have grown to really love little cars like this Fiat and CV2. Will have one one day for sure.
That brings back happy memories . I renovated one of those in the day. They corroded dreadfully. Great video as always wish my video,s was as good
This video is everything!! Absolutely loved it guys, another blinder! You could not social distant is this little beast 🤣
Turns out chemistry is a thing (between car and presenters). I found you via Spike, and I'm really having good fun here. Nice!
Awesome - great to have you here, Cameron
Love love love these cars. First "drove" one when I was 12 !!
Great wee car, great video lads, had a smile on my face the whole way through it.
That’s the point 👍👍👍 Thanks for watching
I laughed out load all the way through, loved it.
Wow guys, this was so much fun to watch! More fun than any exotica, couldn't stop smiling the whole time :)
Thanks 👍👍👍
That looks like so much fun. Great buy !
That little outline with a family in it in the top corner at 3:43 needs to be a Car Guys T-Shirt
Good idea 👍
Thanks for sharing, what a great little car!!
Quality old school car, quality content Gents 👊😎
Loved that, very happy to see more like that. Now, where’s my car & classic login....
Best Car Guys episode for a while. Great to see you back together doing what you do best. Well done and congrats on the purchase Jason. She's a little beauty
That is SO cool! Great purchase Jason!
Great little car and fun presentation...really enjoyed it 👍

Brilliant, your boys must love what you do...... white walls just set the car off perfect......
I bought a 1959 500N for my wife as a Christmas present a few years ago. Every journey had me pushing it at some point. Gone now!
10.59 - pissed myself. (As did Damian.)
Such a giggle! If I felt I could fit in any way without serious mods to me or the car then I’d have one! Well done chaps!
👍👍
I own this car, right hand drive too, with the 650cc engine, such a cutie! Total shed but I adore it 😍
YEEEEESSS gents! Best video on the channel! (so far).
"17 of your earth pounds" - brilliant!
I'm also looking to purchase one for my 40th in a couple of years time - wife doesn't know......yet.
Cheers
Chris
Love the retro Little Chef red interior.
FAR more interesting a car than all the various Ferrari exotica... Bravo! 😊
Great fun vid!
Some Friday fun, thanks lads
well played gents . superb as usual .
You’re so right
That's an awesome little car, Jason always picks cool little cars. 👍
Great fun guys. Lots of laughter from me.
👍👍👍👍
I smiled and laughed al the way through that - great content as ever, chaps. The interior is SO cool - and white wall tyres are ruddy superb - does any modern car come with them as standard? It's time for a revival if not...
DevilBliss Thanks for those kind words, my friend. This will not be one of our most-watched episodes, but it is one of our favourites

Thats the one that actually looks like the 'Noddy car'!
Cute little car, very common also in Germany. It can turn around on a beer mat. The favourite car of my wife. She used to own the successor, the Fiat 126. We had tons of fun with it.

It's not a $300k, 200mph, V12, but it sure was a delightful review. Well done gents.
It's not toe-in but positive camber.
Anyway, great review, thanks !
I have a feeling that this lovely 500 might just put a bigger smile on both of your faces than just about any Ferrari.
As Jason said, what is not to love about that car? Best sunroof ever as well. 18BHP is insane though. Bellisimo !!
Topolino little mouse I very nearly bought one in 1971 this could have been the very same car I was only earning £16 pounds a week at the time and my son was only two years old but my wife said No I had the Isetta bubble car before that so it was like a step up thanks for bringing back memories
You blokes have impeccable taste, another beaut.👍
Marvelous, the happiest video on the internet
Glad you liked it
Of all the cars you’ve reviewed, this is the only one I’d want to own😂
Prop prop prop cool Couldn’t fit three properly‘s into that small space I love this little beauty and as M Schumacher also drove one you have that to add to its long list of likes . No need for an expensive car cover here boys , a M&S bag for life would do. Loved the review and loved the car 🙏

wow a fiat 500 - what a little bundle of joy it is
Great video. Lovely car! A perfect excuse to take up smoking.
Never my cup of tea, but I would buy one if I had a 'dream garage'. Great video, guys :)
Even Gercollector has one
I judge a person by the breadth of their car collection - if they have all V12 supercar gubbins it tells me one thing, and if they have some eclectic stuff it means they are rounded and usually not a spanner - 500 is point in case and an amazing peddle. Nice one.

I saw one in traffic once during rain, dude turned around in his seat and wiped the back window clean😂
😂😂😂😂
Well, it makes you laugh, so it's priceless! 😀👍🏻
Love this little car I have one myself. Have you worked out the heater yet😅. Get that fuel filter out of the engine bay and put it by the fuel tank as it is a fire risk
Love it! Good choice Jason
Brilliant. What a laugh.cheers guys.
My mrs sayes I’d kill you if you came back with that 😂😂😂 cracking year 1971
Here due to the Car Guys chastising us in their last video for not watching this video. That and these are fun cars just like the 2CVs.
👍👍👍

In Spain they nicknamed it The bellybutton because everyone has one. Id love one there fantastic
Love it, brought back memories......Damian it's a two cylinder not a 2 stroke..
italian pride 😎🇮🇹. well done jason
Nice “Giant Monster” lol. Love the car 😍.
0 to 60 = yes?
Just brilliant
love the arbarth one but what a stunning car
Straight on to autotrader! Lovely car
Well chaps, here in the Colonies this little puddle jumper never caught on. FIAT meant " fix it again Tony". Good luck Jason.
Thats a lovely car i would love one of them 😍
You need a shady moustache to drive that😉
