@@zackjones6801 Fall is my favorite time of year to fish. The fish are just worried about getting fat for winter and nothing else lol. Thanks for the sub man 🙏
I’ll give it to ya brother, that’s one very special place you got! Around here we got that stringy ass moss that’s like hair sticking to everything you throw. Thanks for the gear rundown! I don’t throw any rods over 7’ from the yak due to fishing under trees and stuff but good work man, keep crackin em!!
30 lb braid with a 17 lb mono leader, why not just go straight mono?? Wouldn’t it have less guide wear, be cheaper, and still break off at 17+ lbs (if your drag isn’t adjusted to the weakest link) or from teeth??
@@jensendejesus6629 They like it fast lol. I know what I’m doing bro. I sight fish these bass and a lot of times when I’m working it slow they’ll just swirl on it and look at it but when I speed it up they crush it
Awesome video Brother, them fish were fired up n you was gittin em in!!! Niiiiice!
@@jamesmcdermott6934 thanks man

Ya I hate the slimy crap that balls up around your bait. I think all my rods are over 7’ 😂. I’ve never had a problem with it but it’s not for everyone
Beautiful river
Question, when you use a spro top water frog, do you bend the hooks upwards a bit for a better hookup ratio? Or do you keep the hooks stock?
@@DeadDeereTV don’t touch the hooks. You’re ruining the integrity of the hook by bending it and also opening the angle of the hook
Those fish were definitely trying to kill that spook!! That’s some crazy shit!
@@toddnelms9476 Ya it was some pretty crazy footage. Thanks man

What area of the Guadalupe was this at? I’m in Texas also and it’s on my bucket list to fish that river. Looks like you had an awesome haul!
@@markfodran529 Can’t say that unfortunately man. I’ve only told 2 people where this spot is. Can’t risk blowing a spot like this up
Can't believe you would expect him to tell you. Hate to say it but a stupid question to be honest....

@@infernalpaint1132 Easier to walk with straight braid. A LOT easier.
Too fast fishing your lures. Is why so many misses. Good videos but is like you always on a rush.
