As soon as I saw where you were I was like hell yeah then you said that's where I trap at... That's when I sure. The stew looks amazing. Great video man
Ok bud, I haven't had squirrel in 45 years. I live in Washington state and where I live we only have red pine squirrel. There small but damit I just finished my Traditions Shenandoah and as soon as I zero it in I'm going squirrel hunting. When the season opens.
Ive got a recipe similar to this. Instead of tomato sauce I use chicken stock. It comes out like a vegetable soup but with some Cajun seasoning. Always a nice deer camp meal.
It’s great having your children help and participate
They love going
Theres something about being out in the woods with some blackpowder.. i need to get the old flintlock out
There is something about the old ways that make hunting fun again, you should flint locks are a blast

@@JDubbsadventure Made my own
Keeping the tradition alive. ♡
Use baby bigfoot as a template for it's sibling??
I do believe it’s time!
Somehow I keep missing the shotgun that you're using. Could you explain that please?
It’s an old 50 cal I believe that the bore was rusted out so I had it Machined to a smooth bore... #6 shot with sheep’s wool as a Over shot wad
Is that a traditions rifle?
Yes it is
Next time, roll your deer meat in flour, then "Brown " it FIRST, then add it to stew!
Ok thanks I’ll try that. Will it make the meat less chewy?
@@JDubbsadventure definately just cook it slowly. Alternatively marinade it in red wine overnight and the meat will come out soft as.
