- Time for another Anime Figure haul video and a pretty good one at that. We'll be checking out some pokemon scales, Ryuuko's new pop up parade, and a pair of figures that, while excellent, were a bit too pricey and didn't sell very well.

I'm currently waiting for my Dawn and Piplup figure to come in! She will look so cute next to the Dawn with Turtwig! I hope they do some more rereleases for the older ones that are expensive on the after market

Yea, the quality is insane. I can understand why it was so expensive but def a lil too expensive. Shame the company closed. Hopefully the sculptors find work elsewhere.
I really, really enjoy these shorter unboxing/review videos. Hearing your feedback about each one is interesting and it’s all very nice to look at! You also have som pretty interesting info lol. Another banger.
I try and make em pretty concise when I can though I think the original runtime of this video was closer to 30 minutes. Had to cut out alot of yappin lol

I know the Halloween idol figure went down a little bit, though not as drastically as Anzu and Kirari? I stopped looking because I really shouldn't be impulse buying more stuff lol

I have the Licorne Jalter you referenced, it is one of the best figures I have. But at the same time, it is not the easiest figure to display, demanding an absurd amount of space. Based on MFC, they made 2 fate figures and then went fill tilt into idolmaster. It kinds of make me wonder if whoever owns the company is just doing it to make stuff they want without caring too much about the marketability.
Yeah she looks like a shelf hog for sure. Sometimes it's worth it but damn if it isn't annoying when you can't find a place for your figures lol. It's definitely commendable for a team/company/etc to just want to make really nice figures for a series they love but they were really fighting against the market in this case

Glad I got the Jeanne Licorne Figure you mentioned. Its a fantastic figure and since they closed with no hope of a rerun i'm sure the price of any remaining is going to be insane

Excellent video! I ordered the Iono too but I purchased her off someone who was giving up her Amazon JP order. I got her for $230 with shipping included! The Pokémon US store is selling her for like $335?! Even $230 is pushing it for this figure because Leon cost me $225 and he had a Charizard! But Pokémon exclusive female characters always skyrocket so $230 was something I could be okay with.
I have no idea where the US Pokemon Center is getting their pricing from lol. Even if the exchange rate was $1:100 yen it would still be overpriced. But yeah I don't seem them rereleasing Iono so better to jump on it now while ya can

I love iono figure. i preordered her through the pokemon center, no regrets ^_^ Also lets all manifest a Larry figure cuz that would be ammmazing!! lol
US Pokemon Center were def crazy with their pricing but you never know if these figures are gonna become even harder to get so I don't blame ya
In my opinion new Dawn figure from Platinum is a must have. While I fully agree the first one is better in terms of overall design, I feel like you can't have one without the other. Especially now that the bases are looking so well together (swapped colors). The colors are incredible and painting is on point. We don't get much Dawn figures so I think it's a must have. The only part which still didn't click with me are boots. They look goofy and too bulky like you said. But I feel like it depends on the angle you look at her. BTW Zucco do you have Lillie from Kotobukiya? Or do you plan to get her? I have the model with Clefairy and it looks stunning.
My Girlfriend has the Lillie figure with Cosmog and I remember the clefairy one was annoying to get so I missed out. I used to own the Cosmog lillie a long time ago but sold it like a dummy
those are some cool figures dood! though i like some older more stuff as i have several to heart 2 figures all of which are of the characters kousaka tamaki and manaka komaki (two of which for manaka are 1/5th scales by orca toys being kuroneko lingerie and white playboy bunny) and utawarerumono (the four old figures by kotobukiya, nekone by tsukuru no mori, mustumi by spring and a small figure of kamyu who along with aruru and nekone are my favorite characters in the series)
I'm surprised you didn't comment on point campaign amiami is running. I don't think they've done something similar before (at least since 2020) and that's on top of the steep discount give to the figures included in it.
I recorded this video a few weeks ago which was before the campaign started. I agree that it's noteworthy, but I didn't feel like it was worth making an entire video about. Timing just didn't line up for me
Oh wow, I was surprised when you mentioned Saint Tail. Back when I was a teenager I first discovered that anime at a toys r us. Because they had a vol of the anime there for sale. Took some time but I think I ended up collecting the whole series. Still have the DVDs to.
When I ordered from Mercari.jp a did a bit of a bulk by with my girlfriend so those CDs are hers but Im gonna watch a few episodes soon to check it out. I also unboxed Saint Tail's Nendoroid last year though I don't remember which video that's in lol

Well they are still available on AmiAmi atm. Normally I would say they'd go up but it really seems like no one cares about em. Maybe one day they'll get pricey, but I don't see it happening too soon
I would love to pick up the Iono, Anzu, and Kirari?? Figs but currently waiting for the arrival of 3 figures. I hope they are available locally and have the chance to snag them when I have extra.
I mainly do the Pokemon Kotobukiya line, I had Brendan and Dawn from Platinum still boxed and was waiting for the Iono figure to release to reorganize my shelves which I have been doing through this weekend, just having Iono left to unbox and put on the shelve which I will do tomorrow. I have all of the line excluding the Pokemon only figures since I only want the trainers (so Arceus, Latios&Latias Pikachu vs Onyx to name a few I didn’t bought). Looking forward to see what they do after the main characters from Scarlet & Violet
Still waiting on Kris myself, though I would prefer if they start doing more gym leaders
@@ZuccoFigures I also want Kris soon, I believe she was one of the popular characters from the survey they did. I prefer if they finish with the MC before doing other characters so I can technically count the line as complete, although my order would be: MC, Rivals, Champions and then Gym Leaders
Ryuko is really amazing for a Pop-up. Maybe lacks a bit of shading or details on hair to compete with scales, but at that price...
Also, are pointy teeth a meme now ? :D

It's funny cause like half the reason I wear beanies is cause I've been poorly cutting my own hair trying to learn how to so I'm just hiding the mess. I've just been trying to make the videos a little less boring but when I do those preorder roundups and news videos it's a huge marathon recording so I gotta keep it more chill(plus I think it fits the vibe of those videos better)

Their N with Zoruar was actually the very first figure I ever pre-ordered xD and the very first more 'pricey' figure I got
Now my plan is to collect them all, and I sure hope Hilda is getting a rerelease eventually since she's my fave protagonist xD aftermarket for them is just too crazy
I missed out on N. Wasn't paying attention when they first put him up, but there was a point where the US pokemon center "restocked" so I tried to grab one and it never came through. Very lame situation
I'll cross my fingers for you that they'll do another release! A lot of people are looking for him and they did for the Lilly one, so, I guess it's not impossible and he's absolutely worth it
They have done some re-release from time to time specially if they release a character that partners with another they have already released, like they did a re-release for Rosa together with the release of Nate, so expect the same for Hilda when they do Hilbert eventually. The good side is they have done almost all of the female main characters, just missing Kris, so they have to focus now on the male main characters.

It's a detolf case from Ikea, though I believe they discontinued them for some reason. Sucks cause I wanted to get another one but Im sure people are selling them somewhere
I'm happy to able to collect most of the pokemon figures from kotobukiya. I just recently ordered iono from a seller I bought from before on ebay for $217 with free shipping and taxes. Glad she dropped in price, I wasn't willing to spend $250+ for her. I hope they rerelease Serena with the new pokemon legends game coming out... there is so many pokemon figures I want to collect but their aftermarket prices is horrendous 😫
I think they'll get around to rereleasing her eventually. They have a good track record even if it takes awhile
@ZuccoFigures Yeah and I'll be happy to wait. The one I really want to get rerelease the most is the og trainers and n figures. I'm missing green and blue, and my hilda is lonely without n 🫠

look up usagiboots on instagram or just google. They make shirts that are on sale for about two weeks at a time. Unfortunately they are located somewhere in Europe I think so shipping's kinda high, at least for me.

hey zucco amazing video as usual. Ryuko is a fun and faithful figure but man I wish those base were clear bases and not thic black blocks. This one at least is thinner but I got the limited ver L Alucard and although the figure is amazing, the massive black base was a huge disappointment to me. I'm so excited to watch dead dead demons and hope it will be in theater here in France!
It was just announced today that Crunchyroll is bringing over the Dead Dead Demon's movies to their service, and for some reason also spitting it up into weekly episodes. Airs this Thursday I believe. Not sure I love the choice to break up the movies but at least now I don't have to wait till 2025 lol

Damn, I'm not into IM@S but those last two figures are some of the best I've ever seen! Love how nice they look seperate but look even better together and all the little details like their "A K" bracelets and the little things in their baubles actually moving. I also find it smart how they put the smaller girl on a nice base to make her height more matching with the taller girl.
I shoulda taken some photos of them separate but it's a little finicky to link them up so I just wanted to avoid the headache lol. They definitely work well on their own but as a pair they are stellar

The only Pokemon figures I have right now is the Red with all three Kanto starters Nendoroid that was released for the 20th anniversary I believe. It was around the time when stores like GameStop and Toys R Us were getting the exclusive plush of the legendaries for the anniversary and Nintendo released that special anniversary edition 3DS (or maybe that was another year for that one) and yes I have all of it minus a few plush. (would of had Mew if my main bff didn’t swipe it from me) Nintendo really got me invested in the celebration that year.
Other than that (which I should bring up I got via my bf) I got a number of figures of the Pokémon themselves, mostly Eevee cause that’s my favorite. I know about the trainer figures but haven’t had time (and money) to try to get any of them. If there’s ones that include Bulbasaur, Rowlet, Fuecoco and obviously Eevee, I’ll try to get them as those are my favorites. Especially Rowlet. That grass owl is the only other Pokémon that can compete with Eevee on how much I adore it. (Fuecoco is getting close to it though)
I think Fuecoco came with one of the Scarlet/violet trainers but I can't remember which one

I don’t have too many Idol girls, but the ones that I do have are some of my favorites in my collection, I hope that they make more of them, even if it’s by a different company, I for sure want some Pokémon girls, but there are other figures that I want even more, it’s so difficult sometimes making the decision to put some figures on the side burner so I can get other ones instead 😕
There's always gonna be idol figures. Alter loves makin em every now and then at the very least, but I feel like I see at least a couple each month or so

Same man, same. I see Iono's sharp teeth and I'm saddened. Still can't recover from that horse teeth Power figure. Don't think I can buy an Amakuni x Amiami figure in the future after being told that the so called defect is a "naturally occuring, inevitable imperfection on part of the manufacturing process".

The Iono and Bellybolt was so tempting but an ultimate pass because of the price and exclusivity. Also I’m not huge fan of Scarlett and Violet it’s the only Pokemon game I’ve never finished or ever went back to.
