Drive into San Pedro, Belize

We visited Ambergris Caye, a island of the coast of Belize. The only real city on the island is San Pedro. This is a quick drive through of the town from the condo Mara Laguna where we stayed to the water front in San Pedro.

If most people use these golf carts to get around hoe do they to their home shopping for groceries etc.? Are there Ubers? Or deliveries?

Most of the people use the golf carts for everything, including shopping. I've seen them carrying construction equipment, boards, etc. Some actually have trailers too. These people are very resourceful and will use and reuse anything they can. There are a small number of smaller pickup trucks as well.
