I was actually pretty hype beginning of Nagy 2nd year given how the regular season went before Parkey screwed that up. I've now learned to keep expectations and excitement tempered to avoid another let down lol

I went to my first Bears game at Wrigley Field in 1954 as a ten year old. I'm blessed with good health, and am so excited to see this season begin. Poles has done a great job with his staff along with the players he is adding.
I have been watching the Chicago Bears since 1986 and I have never been this confident in the front office as I am with these individuals.

Absolutely. Make Ryan Poles the Senior Vice President of Football Operations and Ian the GM. Kevin Warren will retire once the stadium in Arlington Heights will open in 5-7 years. Then the Bears can promote Poles to President.
even if he does end up getting hired somewhere else (and I believe he will sooner rather than later), the team will get compensated for it with draft picks
I got emotional watching this. Watching these kids lives changed forever. And you can tell some of these kids are gonna be a serious part of our future in Chicago.

It’d be the perfect scenario(especially for JF1’s longevity N success-sake): IF Darnell Wright develops into an absolute stud w/ HOF potential: a la Trent Williams, who’s Like 12-13 seasons in AND STILL consistently playing at a relatively “high level”/dominating.!

Peanut is my favorite Bears cornerback, I really hoped he would have broken the interception record before he retired…..I think he needed 4 or 5 more if not mistaken to break the record.
The one thing that stands out more for me than anything else, from what we've seen of these young guys in interviews, is the quality of the people they've drafted. There's no cast iron guarantees regarding how their skillsets translate to the NFL, or if they can stay healthy, but if you get quality people who make good team mates and leaders you are giving yourself every chance. Their selections mirror Poles and Eberfluss. Quality people. I hope it works out for them. I'd like for coach 'Fluss to still be HC in 10 years, because, if he is, we'll have had sustained success. Go Bears 🐻 👍
I'll be happy with a consistent threat/contender for now. At least a threat to win the division. Its looking really good even though it always does this time of year. This feels different.

There are steps along the way but when the goal of being a Champion is repeated over and over the successes along the way makes that goal real.
This team is headed in that direction.

This vid was awesome, brought tears of joy to my eyes seeing how the Bears finally having a GM who is picking the correct players that fit the scheme and building the roster the right way thru the draft……..haven’t been this excited for the upcoming season since Hester’s rookie season and the year the Bears went to the Super Bowl back in 2006 and when the Bears defense was wrecking havoc back in 2018 when we acquired Khalil Mack and when Eddie Jackson made his presence known etc….
