Every afternoon they would be playing on the beach at the side of a beach restaurant ! Ive never lost a child , so not sure how id act . But their behaviour was bizarre !

There was a British child social worker that approached the McCann's to give assistance when Madeleine disappeared. David Payne told her that she wasn't needed. She stated that she recognised David Payne but couldn't place him. She had the feeling she recognised him from a previous child case where he was involved. And not as a doctor.
Think about it logically, if you went to check on your children all under 5 and discovered one wasnt in bed youd automatically assume they had wandered off and you'd look everywhere in the apartment and immediate vicinity, your first reaction wouldn't be "they've taken her" and scream shes been kidnapped, that sealed it for me, absolutely stinks.
As a parent we never left the children unattended to go and eat out. Even as teenagers, when they had parties at home (which they always did and we insisted) my partner and I would take it in turns to supervise the party, walk around to make sure nothing illegal (substances etc) was happening. We had duty of care to our children and to their guests. I have never understand this couple and how they went out for a meal leaving children alone, that is neglect.
It is thought by people who have done a lot of research into this case that the children were never left alone. There was always one of the 'tapas' friends missing from the table every night. They concocted the story of neglect so as to make an abduction seem possible. No neglect = no abduction.

Kate, in her book, claims Maddie applied the makeup herself. At 3 years old. I’m guessing that’s not the actual truth. What I find even stranger is the angle the photo is taken from. It’s below and looking up at her. Bizarre to say the least.
Our 2 year old grandaughter is very close to her grandad, she would ask him to take her up to the toilet, but he always insists that there is someone else with them, he feels uncomfortable as shes such a little girl, she doesnt understand it puts him in an awkward position, but hes right to keep himself safe too. It reminds me of the time when I was hired to work in child and adolescent psychiatry in the NHS in 2012. History of sexual abuse in patient's' histories was so prevalent, that I truly freaked out. I only lasted 6 months in the post, never let my family come and stay with me, and although I was initially very excited about this opportunity, I thought very seriously about where I was going to bring my daughter, and returned to my Mediterranean country. Never ever regretted this decision.

There was a British child social worker that approached the McCann's to give assistance when Madeleine disappeared. David Payne told her that she wasn't needed. She stated that she recognised David Payne but couldn't place him. She had the feeling she recognised him from a previous child case where he was involved. And not as a doctor.

As a parent we never left the children unattended to go and eat out. Even as teenagers, when they had parties at home (which they always did and we insisted) my partner and I would take it in turns to supervise the party, walk around to make sure nothing illegal (substances etc) was happening. We had duty of care to our children and to their guests. I have never understand this couple and how they went out for a meal leaving children alone, that is neglect.
It is thought by people who have done a lot of research into this case that the children were never left alone. There was always one of the 'tapas' friends missing from the table every night. They concocted the story of neglect so as to make an abduction seem possible. No neglect = no abduction.

That's probably what did happen and why Dianne Webster came along: to look after the Children at night. For the preceding nights, either Webster or one of the others was away looking after the children, but MBM was allegedly left on her own, so Webster wouldn't notice her absence (assuming she already be de_d at this point)

It reminds me of the time when I was hired to work in child and adolescent psychiatry in the NHS in 2012. History of sexual abuse in patient's' histories was so prevalent, that I truly freaked out. I only lasted 6 months in the post, never let my family come and stay with me, and although I was initially very excited about this opportunity, I thought very seriously about where I was going to bring my daughter, and returned to my Mediterranean country. Never ever regretted this decision.
