I saw this coming. Once S&W came out with their foldy thing, and the $100 rebates for new Sub2k's, I figured a revamp was in the works. The main concern is optics mounting, which I hope will be addressed. An aluminum trigger might also be nice.

Going to attach the collar at the buffer tube using something other than glue for gen 3 so it doesn’t fall off or am I still gonna get to deal with that when I inevitably buy it because I’m a sucker for Kellgren products?
Hopefully it will have slightly higher iron sights, an improved ar15 style safety and the receiver and barrel block be made of aluminum instead of polymer. An optics rail that rotates could be beneficial but i beleive that optics defeat the purpose of this handy carbine. I carry a gen 2 in my backpack daily, im excited.
@@DivisDruid What would be great is if they went and had the option to have the brass eject from the side as well. Probably would need to have a separate bolt with the ejector on the left or right depending on the shooter. Also that would be great to clear malfunctions and alo easier to check if the weapon is clear too.
@@josephvalo I feel like that would defeat the purpose of the rifle while adding more parts and possibility of issues as well. Keep it the same but update the externals and ergonomics, while adding a full metal version in full production.

Winchester, Sellier & Bellot, Wolf, Fiocchi, Prvi Partizan, Red Army Standard are still making non-corrosive Tokarev ammo. Moreover, it's reloadable, and .223/5.56 cases can be easily converted. Not to mention tons of milsurp. Should it be a modern "Glokarev" 20-rd optics-ready semi-auto handgun/PCC combo on the market, then more ammo manufacturers would jump in. Like what happened to silly $1.00/rd 5.7x28 - glorified bastard child of .17HMR and .22WMR, - and people are still crazy buying it, lol! ...or at least make it with damn cushy BUTTPAD!!!!!
