  • So, you’ve just booked a trip to Iceland and you’re wondering what the heck to bring?
    I got you.
Not to toot my own horn but over the past 10 years I have perfected the art of minimalist packing so that I never have to pay for a bag when I travel and this saves me up to $1k per year in luggage fees.
Here’s exactly what I’ve packed in my 20L backpack/wearing on my person for the trip:
    - Fleece Jacket
    - Down jacket
    - Trail shoes
    - Regular shoes
    - Flip flops
    - Swimsuit
    - 7 pairs of underwear
    - 7 pairs of socks
    - 1 dress
    - 7 tops
    - 1 Pair of Jeans
    - 2 pairs of leggings
    - Towel (which I forgot to include in the video but will definitely pack!)
    - Sunscreen
    - Eye mask (which I forgot to include in the video but will definitely pack!)
    - Laptop
    - Phone
    - Shampoo + conditioner
    - Toothpaste
    - Toothbrush obvs
If this topic tickles your tentacles then I have another packing video that goes into depth about warm and cold weather packing with a 20L backpack: • How I save $1k per yea...
Enjoy Iceland ❄️ And stay tuned for a full RUclips vlog of this epic trip in a few weeks 👀

    Hey,
cool video. You are cool to listen to and watch 😊 I love the fact that you use time stamps, that you not only show what you are taking with you but you made a list so it is easier for me to know what you are taking with ya. Nothing better than travelling with the bare minimum. I did it for the first time 5 years ago and I refuse to travel with more than a backpack, there are sinks and washing machines 😄 If you end up needing something, you can always buy it.
How was your experience with the Tropicfeel backpack? I used it once and was not happy with it. It felty very uncomfortable to carry. A pity because I do like the quality and the wardrobe system is awesome. I ended up giving it to my brother, he hasn't used it yet tho.
    Lovely video! Thanks for sharing.
    Greetings from Germany 😊

Hey, thanks so much for watching. I’m super happy you found the video informative. And obvs am totally onboard with what you say about minimalist travel. About the tropic feel bag. Yeah I also got rid of the wardrobe system inside. It was too bulky and annoying. There are many things I love about the backpack like for example I really like that it expands. But after using it for a couple of years, I’m not sure I would recommend it for long term travel. It’s more of a weekend bag. Next time I will probably go with something with a clam shell. Actually I did a bit of a review of this bag in a previous packing video if you’re curious I can link it here

@@OoGy95Oh, thanks for taking the time to reply :)
I bought the backpack because I loved the wardrobe system. In case anyone is reading this and wants one, AEVOR also sells one that is a bit smaller, I believe.
Oh, sure! I can search for it myself but if you wanna share the link, feel free :)
      Have a lovely day :)

Hey, great video. Liked and subscribed! I'm heading to Iceland soon and just wondering should I bring upper and lower body waterproofs? We are bringing tons of layers and a wind proof but no water proofs. Other vids say you should, did you manage ok without? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

    • @OoGy95

Hey there, thanks so much for the subscribe. So with Iceland it depends on what time of year you go and what temperature it will be and what activities you will be doing. Personally we were into hiking, seeing waterfalls and chilling in hot springs. And I just prefer to wear work out gear on the bottom during a hike and just change it in the car because I hate the sound the waterproof pants make when you walk so I go made after 4hs. And also any activity like kayaking or whale watching they provide you with full body suits. I would highly recommend bringing a rain jacket though but we just brought these light thin ponchos I think I forgot to put that in the video because it was in my husbands bag but it was just a 12 euro one from decathalon. Hope this helps and enjoy Iceland ❤

So the sleeping mat it was from decathalon I’m not sure of the brand actually I borrowed it from my mum. My bag weighed around 7.3 kg with everything inside
