      Sometimes kids aren’t. I helped a little girl who lost her parents in an airport, she just calmly asked if I had “seen her mummy and daddy”. I found the parents easily because they looked terrified (especially dad, he was almost crying) but the little girl wasn’t scared at all😊 nb- I work as a shop assistant in duty free, so she came up to me because I wore a uniform!

      @@chameleon28same I also helped a girl who kept crying mama walking around the kid market. I was the only shop keeper in my store so I didn’t step out right away but after 5 minutes of listening to her I had to go outside and stop her from wandering around. While I was contemplating going to market security the parents and some other shoppers found us. The girl followed me right away when I called out for her and stopped crying. I wonder why no one else helped her as she must have walked around the area for a while , and it’s a busy tourist spot.

    The kid seems exhausted, and it looks like he feels safer without his father there. He is not anxious at being separated from his parent, and is trying to get physical comfort from the student, and go to sleep on him. Maybe he feels he can finally relax. I hope the kid wasn't just handed back to his alcoholic father.

    • @selmahare
      @selmahare 4 месяца назад +86

      I was thinking the same. The alcoholic father is obviously not fit for purpose. I don’t know how it works in China, but where I come from social services would take him. It’s everything but ideal for any child to end up in the system, the system is BAD; but in this case he’s obviously not safe with his dad either. Poor baby.

    • @Kat-mu8wq
      @Kat-mu8wq 4 месяца назад +22

      In China, and Japan (probably Korea too) adoption costs money. As in $25,000-40,000 per child. So the system would probably not be better because the kid is very unlikely to be taken in. In Asia they prefer having children of their own blood, they rarely adopt kids.

      Yeah, even though mostly people would eventually help it always warming seeing a group of people being kind and tried their best to help. Not including the father of course.
      And yeah, the world sure is full of conflict right now with people being to sensitive to anything where people even find innocent things offensive and harmful. And people being envious and hate towards anyone who are above them.
      And i don't think it will ever calm down any time because there would be just a new generation that past those characteristic since it would always happen no matter what because that's just human nature of being "GREEDY" and desire of being superior. And yeah there's nothing we can do if we don't have power to go against it, since there's people who would always wanted more until they're satisfied

Sometimes his brothers leave without remembering to take him home or they'll leave and come pick him up before we close because no one can wake him up. lol. They live nearby and most of the staff have worked with these brothers for a few years so it's not usually a big deal with this boy. Chinese students are excellent in many aspects. I never had a single behavioral issue caused by any of my students in my almost 7 years of teaching in China.
    Chinese people IN CHINA (I emphasized this because the Chinese in my homecountry, the PH are NOT that type) are generally kind, humble, peace-loving and hardworking.
    Even my mom who visited me and stayed with me for about 3 months was so impressed by how gentleman and respectful the Chinese men were.
    My almost 7 years of teaching and living in China was one of the best experience I've ever had.
    Almost 10 years have passed since I left the Middle Kingdom (中国) and I'm still in contact with my friends there.

      @@vikasprakashjoshi2090 Not necessarily. Their ancestors move to my country (and other ASEAN/Asian countries) when China wasn't as prosperous as it is now.
      Truth be told, even their (Chinese in my home country) physical features are different from what O saw in China.
      I presume this is because those Chinese who migrated before came from the same geographical (as well as social, economic, racial) location - South of China.
      This also explains why what most of us know as Chinese food OUTSIDE China are way too different from what they have in China.
      I learned during the years I was in China that there are actually 8 MAJOR CHINESE CUISINES.
      What most people taste, know, see in other countries are perhaps from Guangdong or Fujian areas.
      For example, Sichuan food is characterized by "ma" and "la" or "ma la". It's not the usual hotness and spiciness brought by chilli pepper. It's something else. The distinct spiciness amd hotness is attributed to the sichuan pepper.

    That father needs to have the CPS called on him and investigated as the message states at 1:14 that the little boy feels much more safer around the college students than his own father which is so bleak to read yet so awfully heartbreaking! 💔
    I've watched Fairy Tail (the anime) growing up in my mid-20s and for the master of the guilt to tell Natsu, Lucy, & Happy that family doesn't always have to be from blood, couldn't be more accurate as this boy found a new family even if it's only a subway ride that were looking over him for his safety! 💞👐💞
    Not only I giggled and smiled all the way through as the college students were doing their best to communicate with the little one as I can see how exhausted he must've felt which I can relate being that clinical depression is a pain in the brain lol but how if gives me an insight of all the Chinese News I've watched of citizens not reaching out to each other, it has to be 18-20 year-olds being the ones reaching out which gives me a Buddhist hope of kindness for their generation! 😇 💖 💝

    No joke but when I was on vacation in China when I was like 4-5 years old, I had a similar experience of my family forgetting me 😅
    I was sleeping and my mom, sister, grandma, and aunt were all on the bus and didn’t realize we had to get off. They immediately were rushing out and yelled out my name but I was too sleepy to move. A few seconds, I opened my eyes and turned around and realized my family were all gone but saw them chasing me from behind. The bus only stopped because I started crying 😂

    I hope this going viral has at least alerted the authorities to do something about the boy’s father’s issue. And if only the students would be allowed access to him, baby sit him or something along those lines. The little one’s clearly looking for affection elsewhere that he’s not getting from his father.
