@@retrostudio5600 You just need to press the acknowledge and silence button on the panel or annunciator to turn off the alarms. Unplugging and powering down the entire system when it is in alarm is something that you never do cause it can fry the panel or kill the notification appliance circuits.
Why did the system play a buzzing sound before the slow whoop sound?
Because the DVC is on an AA-30 with a DVC-AO. Analog amplifiers do that.
What if you unplugged it while it’s ringing
The alarm would keep sounding, but the system would just be on battery power.
