Good job Keluarga Pak Martin, watching from Jakarta 👍🙂
I wish I had that crane for my SIPs roof builds, but that gooseneck trailer is what I have never seen before. I want one. Like the AR shirts too.

Cool Glad to See that its Coming All Together... No Rain
Good job Pak Martin and bu Julie. Keep smiling 😊👍👍
Thanks, You too!
Thanks for sharing this construction video. I have been following you from the start where you build the existing house. I understand filming, editing & uploading the video is lot of hard work. I’m pleasantly surprised you can continue construction & daily chores. Thanks for sharing this adventure always looking forward to your videos. Rick from Melbourne, Australia currently experiencing the hardest lockdown of the community all over the world. It’s very hard now mentally to cope. Hence your videos inspires us to get through this hardest lockdown 100 days & still counting.
I’m glad we can help. Hang in there hopefully this will all be over soon.
Excellent job. Thanks. KC, MO
I can't wait to see it also. Its really well built !!!!!
Nice work guys. Thanks for sharing. God Bless.
South Florida says "Yahoo!! Trusses are set" Nice....
Excellent teamwork, you guys get it done! Love the 'DEMOLITIA' Tshirt , Demo Ranch is also one of my favorite tubers
Thank you for monologue about not filming your bracing . Safety is most important on construction. Your tutorials on how the bracing work's was great fillin for us to follow up with....Like your logic.
You are great team together .. thanks for most we excellent video as always. ......
Peace and blessings to you......
Martin you REALLY got it going 👍👍
You got that down divide and conquer..you will be dried in by winter...filming all the snow from DIFFERENT views...lol I really like the layout 👍
Fingers crossed!
BAM. Coming into shape. Good job. keep smiling.
Great like always! Love it so
You are so kind.
amazing setup super compact boom truck that still hauls its own trusses, that is nice
Down here in the south we call them "flying rafters". You guys are an amazing team doing incredible quality work.
You did great! You can only film what you can only film. Love keeping up with your journey. Keep on doing it!
We always call them "lookouts" great video buddy!
i think framing might be my favorite part of construction so much changes so quickly....or drywall and siding lol looking great!!!
You and me both!
You are doing a wonderful job.
Looks very stoutly constructed Martin. Great job and well laid out.
What an awesome Boston you have too!
Great video. I came across your channel about a month ago went back and watched pretty much all your building videos. Great channel and content. Keep them coming....
Those end pieces creating your overhang are called lookouts. The barge rafter is the fascia that attaches to the lookouts to create your overhang.
Thanks! Now I know.
Yep, what Nick said.
Great job folks! Got some more sheeting to do now! Get it ready before winter!
These overhangs are called ‘ladders’, in Canada at least.
thanks for letting me know.
Scissor trusses Easy PC looking good
Thank you for the great video
Demolitia T shirt. Awesome !!!
Wow. Things are really coming along now. Just in time for the first snow too. 🤣
I really admire your work constructing your wooden house, with my regards to you and your kind family, bahaa from Iraq
G8 workmanship, I intend doing some of yr ideas and solar power 2cut down power bill and help the planet from using fossil fuels, keep up the g8work, Peter from Queensland Australia,
Awesome and stay safe, God bless
The overhang for the gable ends is called an outlooker :)

Awesome man
Great team effort! You guys work together so well!
Good job - again
Looking Good guys !

Omg that was so dangerous silly pup. I thought he went under the trailer..especially when it jumped at it..house is looking amazing.
Great video thanks again
Old school framers will call those outriggers "Nelsons"
Nice build!
Great job you're going to have I beautiful home
Thank you! 😊
Very nice, I will like to know more about this setup.
looking good
Buen trabajo. Enhorabuena
Great video.
Looking awesome. Inspiring to do my projects.
Isaiah 32 : 18
" My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest."
Stay safe and May God bless , Pak Martin and fam.. 🙏
We call them "Look Outs" ... the blocks extending out to attach the gutter board to.
Again, excelent work, Mr. Martin. Soon you'll have a mancave to work in... To lift the sheathing on the roof, as this looks taller than the house, you might use a cheap electric winch lift. Just an idea, get it done with the most handy thing you have. Keep going, you're beeing watched... =)
Thanks 👍
Watching from Chiba Japan.
1st time viewer but you got me with the Demolition Tee Shirt!
Another great video showing the progress, thank you for the inspiration! A little late for the thought but, in a similar situation to when you were doing the blocking, maybe set up a go-pro type camera looking out the window in the house to do a time lapse of the work?
Thanks for the idea!
@@MartinJohnsonOffGridLiving My pleasure, even for your regular videos it would give extra footage (maybe boost the monetization value even LOL)
Great Job 👍 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Nice job
Good
Marty, it's looking good , hope you can get it dried in and wood stove installed before the snow flies
Its good you get the Trusses delivered, and the same vehicle lifts them in place, hope you are sending Sarah vids of progress, how is she doing in colledge??. Thanks for the video, from UK.
She is doing great.
101720/0823h pst. As a,ways thank you, Sir for the inspiring and instructional video. After a little bit of changes, here and there, to suit individual taste and style, this video is so perfect. Stay safe and stay Blessed. 73s...
Good job didn't take long well organized
Thank you!
We usually call the gable overhang "lookouts"
i like Seth to be so young he has a lot of common since.
Indonesia hadir 🇲🇨
They make soffit venting that allows air to vent into rafter area so the bird blocking isn't necessary .
Where did you get the truss spacers? I could use some of those right now as I'm setting trusses up on my pole barn build. :)
Maybe you'll get most of the roof before major snow comes but your getting there.
Yea roof soon. Can't wait this is done.
Don't worry about recording the nitty gritty... You have to focus to build it right. The structural bit.
Can't wait for it to water tight..
Fun to watch your both care and confidence in setting these compared to the house trusses. Will you go with the same roofing?
Why are you using two charger controllers? Secondly what size of generator can take 24volts inverter thanks
where did you get those spacers never seen them before .Sure beats using 1x4 strapping
Nice to see those trusses up! Can’t wait to see the next steps!
Hi there I did not see the supply cable which goes inside the house can you please show them thanks for that
That's a good trick if you pull it off....just how would you get the cars to fly? Catapult? Strong rubber bands?
Strong rubber bands for sure.
Hi Martin! Today, so many RUclipsrs discard the polite way of saying even a short greeting at the beginning of their video. You're clearly not one of those people who just get straight to the point - even though a greeting doesn't require much from anyone, it makes a pleasant impression. Thanks for that! People like this who have discard politeness are one proof that the best book of prophecy in the world, the Bible, is right when it tells us:
"But know this, that in the last days there will be critical times that will be difficult to survive. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, scoffers, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, disloyal, having no natural affection. , agreeing to nothing to agreement, slanderers, self-tempered, furious, without the love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God" (2 Timothy 3:1-4)
Why is H-beam not used popularly when building single house in the states? Since the wood bar price is rocketing recently in the states.
My good experience elictric working
How do you build a structure strong enough to put a garage above the apartment? I built an apartment above my garage in New Meadows, ID.
Im realy..really love your lifestyle..wanna seems like yours in Malaysia maybe..hrmmmm..
Garage Above the Apartment Build Gracie ? LOL 😅
Keep up
Great to see how you got the trrusses up - How is your daughter doing at college
Thanks. She is doing great!
@@MartinJohnsonOffGridLiving Good news
How did you connect the frame to the concrete
Looks like your place on the Battle Born Battery home page, no?
Ya i read your heart conversation also read what you think
niceeee...
seth so brave
yes, this is the good life :)
Anyway, what kind of timber do you use Pak Martin? Is there any termite threat? Does the timber dry ovened? If it soaked by the rain, does it affect to the timber endurance? I am sking this because we are in Indonesia with tropical climate has bunch of problem by using wood, logs and timber.
It is all good here. This is the most common building material. Check out Home Depot’s web site you can see all different kinds of lumber for building.
Where do you get those truss spacers from? Do they set them 24" OC?
Should get a bigger ladder or a rolling scaffold for safety. Wouldn't want to leave the house to Sancho.
So curious when you connect it to the house, is it going to be like a suspended walkway or are you enclosing the bottom and top floor together?
The "Look-outs" should be every 24", 4' isn't enough support for the OSB.. Code here in Northwest Montana...
I’m not in Montana.
they are called lookouts
How much has your material costs gone sense you guys did the first part last year?
We will be hanging trusses soon. We are on the fence in getting the crane. How long did it take you to hang using the crane?
maybe an hour
Wow, fast! Thank you 😊
Suggestion use concrete and stone, not all that wood to build you house
