    • @mikellegoff5676
      @mikellegoff5676  3 года назад +2

      Hi Claudio,
      You are quite right, the outside gets quite hot once it has been on for a while, but not unbearably hot. In fact I keep touching the outside as it gives me a feel of when it is ready to put the pizzas in. Some people put some insulation on top of it but I reckon it is only necessary if you make pizzas commercially. For home use, you will only use it to cook 4 to 10 pizzas if you have friend round, so no need. Keep it simple, but the result will be worth it as nothing beats the taste of woodfired pizzas.
      Good luck and show us the result please.

    Hi All, Harbor Freight and other companies sell small wagons, 2 feet wide by 4 feet long, can carry 1,000 pounds, 440 kg.
    As well, they sell small trailers, 4 feet wide by 8 feet long, can carry 1,100 pounds or 1,720 pounds.

    Hello and thank you for you sharing. By no means am i knocking your build. This build looks to easy to be true. Have you actually made pizza in there? I've seen other builds use glass under the fire stone for insulation and insulation around the dome for heat retention. How hot does it get when fired up? Thanks and waiting patiently for your reply.

    • @mikellegoff5676
      @mikellegoff5676  3 года назад +1

      Hi Mario,
      The motto is "keep it simple". You could add a lot of insulation on top and underneath, that is true.
      But if you are going to make 8 to 12 pizzas, you only need it to be hot for 1 hour tops, so why make more complicated than need be.
      It still goes up to 550 degrees Centigrade + (my infrared heat gun only goes to this and then says it cannot read).
      The best temperature for pizzas is between 400 and 450 degrees and the cook under 2 minutes.
      But the oven is nothing, the most important thing is your dough.
      With the right dough, you can have fab pizzas in your normal oven or on your barby.
      But that is for another video, hopefully soon.

      Hi Johnny Boy, you can turn the sound off as I only talk for the first 30 seconds. Cheers

    I hope no one is using this as a tutorial to build their own patio oven. So many things wrong in it…
    The walls are not insulated properly. You waste an ungodly amount of firebricks by covering the whole bottom. The wood is nowhere near sturdy enough to support the weight of this contraption, so on, so forth.

    But Why, Why Do you have to play that idiotic music? What does it possibly add, except to fill up the lack of explanation. I made it 3 min sorry

    It would be nice instead of the music have a step-by-step of what you're doing.
