Thanks for the piece. I have lost many files from Fr Keating recently. What a pain. But i plan to recover the items, one by one. Nothing is like his spiritual views and approaches. Blessed.
The remarks on Protestant theology and the audience sounds of agreement with those old, old, old chestnuts of theological difference make a disturbing contrast to the lofty and practical insights Keating is offering. I've noticed this in other lectures of Keating's. It's almost a vestigial behavior of identification with religious conditioning. It causes stumbling, and there's no serious truth in it. It reduces God and people to a picayune bit of thumb sucking--those Protestants have this problem.but by sliding over ourselves, we don't have it. Ah, say the listening folk, them, but not us. The next thought is, we're better than they are. I find this interesting but no interruption of understanding Keating. You gotta let it go if you are pursuing non duality. Just goes to show how hard nonduality is to realize with your own beliefs.
Fr. Keating is a Catholic. To a Catholic Protestantism is heresy. Heresy is that which tears apart the mystical Body of Christ. I think the fruits of Protestantism are the now 30,000 denominations, certainly doesn't promote unity. "Non-duality" doesn't mean you co-sign falsehood. And if it did mean that, then you would not have even bothered to comment to point out what you assume to be falsehood in Keating's worldview.
I wish this man’s church were as wise as this man.

Very lovely. Thankyou ❤
Thx great teachings.
I wish I met him before he passed. My mom found out a couple years ago that he is her grandpas cousin. So he is my third cousin.
So helpful. Thank you. These videos are a treasure. Does anyone know which Pope he is referring to?
Amen
