Just used the soft top cleaner, my roof wasn’t that dirty visually but it was filthy. I vacuumed the roof before I washed it. The muck that came of was unbelievable. There were a few stubborn mould stains so went over them again. This product is so much better than the products I’ve used before that was autoglym. Just waiting for my roof to dry so I can use the restorer. At the moment I am so pleased with the product . Watch this space.
Always use this on my 9-3. Never disappointed.
Applied the proofing and the next day the hood was a fresh black again and the rain was beading off. Great product.

Y certain soft tops have this innerlayer. Not sure if true but no problems until now (Oct.2024). Planning to hand wash linnen for first time now with soft brush and got a tip from a friend with Biotex Blue, not green, to prevent green mould from regrowing. Hope it works well.

help! i drove through a car wash and accidentally had wax added. My canvas top is loaded with wax and I can't get it out. Any tricks? It is melting down my windows and into the door panel.
Does same thing apply for vinyl tops. Best to avoid car washes?

How do you get rid of jet wash marks?
Protect canvas restorer - which is basically dye. Makes it look brand new
Used 500ml on a TT Roadster as recommended and didnt work as good as I expected, also it takes an age to rinse out of anything including the soft top fabric! Not impressed to be honest
I used fabsil two coats on my saab 93 soft top.. how do i remove it to apply protex waterproofer
Why remove it?? If its Fabsil Gold it's an excellent product to put on canvas soft tops.
Blowtorch? Not big on silicone based waterproofers. I think u can wash it off with Purple Power (4320P) Industrial Strength Cleaner and Degreaser - 1 Gallon
Dilute as recommended. Re seal your paint even after use on your top.
Then Raggtop or Protex. BOTH are silicone free!
Remember, RaggTopp is the only brand of cleaner and protectant that is recommended by Haartz Corporation and Rode & Schwalenber Gmbh. (Germany)
Got to remember this is a biased video, recommending their own products over others. Lots of good advice in it, but Fabsil gold is excellent.
Step 1 buy the most expensive product you find ..
Step 2 cuss yourself for being an idiot and come to the realisation that a 1 pound mould remover is just as good
Step 3 use a jet wash just make sure its in its lowest setting

How Can you get jet wash marks out?
I got mine out with lots of scrubbing, my husband jet washed my car when I told him not too and I was deverstated the marks did come out but I do highly recomend the soft top cleaner it so much better than the autoglm I have use before. I am just in the process of doeing a full clean, restor and water proof. The cleaner is fantastic so far.

You are very welcome I love to share good products. Just finish the black soft to restorer, used the full 500ml bottle it soaked it up like a sponge unlike the cleaner. Can’t wait for it to dry and apply the water -proofer. Quick tip wear gloves when applying black restorer , I bought a full kit that came with brushes, scrubber but no gloves but still finding a fantastic product. Such a shame i ran out of the waterproofer after 3 /4 of my roof orfered some more for tomorrow. Looks great anyway. Can’t wait to see the water eolling off my roof.

stay away from soft tops unless you live in california!
Meh - I own 4 convertibles if you include the wifes - not a problem. They are 42 years old, 20 years old and 5 years old, no probs
